Do we have a midfield out there because it seems anyone can dander through the middle and not for the first time this season. Every team can carry the ball out past our press because it's a false press, no one ever puts an actual tackle in. At some point you have to actually pressurise the person on the ball , not just run near them

Not sure how MOTM wasn't a straight choice between Dom who held midfield on his own and scored a delightful goal or Kerkez who won the entire left hand side and was our best wide forward for loads of the game. A decent win , another small step and all that.

I headed out right after the match but so many things need addressing. Ali was the best keeper with the ball at his feet but now can't kick it to a red. How come we run out of steam without actually running Why can we only play football for 25 min How come we continue to play those 2 wide forwards when they obviously have no idea what to be doing Honestly I'd rip the whole thing up. Id rather we played Kerkez in front of Robertson than see that idiot Gackpo turn out again. Salah, , again a no show, can't run, can't control the ball and his hasn't a notion where the net is. Macca in midfield , jesus H, he had one pass to Mo and a weird shot at the moment end, that's his entire game summed up! In every single game this season we've only played a maximum of 45 min decent football. Most games one of ours does something that leads directly to at least one goal. Every team has better ball control, looks fitter than us, better coached than us and know how to score, that includes a team several divisions below us. I'd drop Ali, Salah, Gackpo and Macca, play anyone instead of them. Maybe even someone who is fit, can run, can tackle ( remember the point of pressing is to win the ball back, not just to run near the player). So many things wrong, from top to bottom, from the sporting director through the coaching staff to the players. Abysmal
