Dein isn't a bad shout but despite having the best Arsenal team for over a decade, it took them getting the new ground built to increase their revenues significantly ie to bring them up with Europe's big hitters.

Ah, fair enough, I thought it was 2012. No goal post moving at all.

That's a fair point re the goal of the club but whether it can be done in four years, as you say, remains to be seen. Out of interest, who would you regard as being capable in this area?

I touched on this earlier. Whilst the commercial operations are clearly on the up, the obscene transfer figures distort the growth to a certain extent. I'm not certain that the club will break even by 2012 which was their aim but when your boss spends £30m odd on a player on a bit of a whim, you're always going to be fighting an uphill battle.
