Don't understand I thought the idea was that footballers had to have a level of sustained fitness. The pre season wasn't great I think in preparation to get us to that level for the start of the season - so if we weren't there initially then we should have been training extra to get to the required level. From all accounts that hasn't happened so could that be a contributing factor for the high number of injuries. Seems to me like it could be. If so who is responsible? The coaching staff? If so isn't that a sackable offence seems like negligence.
