Will Highes definitely watches the Five Nations in a waxed jacket with a pale ale. -

The Villa game is orders of magnitude more important, but I don’t think this line up was the right way to go. -

Yep that as well, but I was making the point that we haven’t really strengthened in squad terms at all. Despite the huge outlay. -

We sold too many players in the summer. -

It was down the other end so I didn’t have a clue in the ground & I’ve only just seen the pen now and I have to say I can see why it was given. After everything I’d heard I was expecting something much more controversial. -
It’s a transition season for sure. I’m just not sure what we are transitioning into.

The only positive for me yesterday was early in the 2nd half I saw 3 mates of mine who were in a funny little part of the end where their row of seats was quite small, and had a railing in front of it. It looked like they were in a dock in court or something. So anyway I see them waving their arms around above their heads and it made me think of the Young Ones on University Challenge where they do that to the theme tune. Caught up with them on the way out and that’s exactly what they were doing. One of them said if we can get these seats next year I’m getting a SCUMBAG COLLEGE banner made up to drape over these railings.

Haven’t heard any mate. Not where I was anyway. It was a pretty angry end last night, but not at him specifically. Just at how lame we were really. Palace and Chelsea happened so late that you’re just stunned & want to get away.

3 home games under the lights. Should be inspiring. Could be toxic. I’m in the “if I woke up tomorrow and heard he’d resigned I wouldn’t be bothered & would think it’s probably for the best” stage.

Everyone that’s come in, with exception of Ekitike, has so far been a downgrade on who they’ve replaced, or their nearest equivalent. And we’ve had some pretty serious talent leave the club one way or another. It’s no surprise we’ve gone backwards. Did Arsenal sell anyone? So all their signings are improvements. It’s weak (so far) and it’s thin. There’s gaps all over. And we’ve spent a fortune and exploded our wage bill. Not a great combination is it.

The one where he looks like he just saw a ghost and hasn’t got a clue what just happened? -
You could see on Wednesday why he was good in Germany, where it’s all “after you Claude”. He's obviously richly talented, but unless he can learn to execute in about 50% of the time he had in Germany then we have a massive dud on our hands. Slot’s systemic befuddlement is not helping, obviously.

And who amongst us didn’t think that that big galoot with his long throws was going to hurt us? Did we do 2 hours of training against long throws on Friday? Clearly f***ing not, despite the obvious evidence that we would be in for a bombardment of the f***ing things.
-
I hate us at the moment. So slow, so passive, and so predictable.

It was every bit as bad as Palace and Chelsea and United. Kelleher doesn’t make a save does he? Awful, awful stuff. -
Gone by the end of November I reckon. Any slight encouragement from Klopp & I think they are like a rat up a drainpipe.
-
I think he’s cooked. Which I hate saying, but I just have zero confidence in what he’s doing. It’s all over the place. The results in these 4 defeats in the league don’t change if I‘m in goal for the opposition. Piss poor.

Me and Pax in the away end. Not good is it. I missed the Kerkez goal like the dolt I am. Come on lads. Let’s do this. -
Match Topic Frankfurt vs Liverpool - Champions League, 22nd October @ 8pm

Frankfurt were hopeless, would have had a harder game from a Championship side. But 5-1 away is 5-1 away. Especially after 4 defeats on the bounce. Brentford will be orders of magnitude harder. -

Or some kind of rhombus. -
I thought we would be angry and show a proper reaction after 3 defeats and the manner of them. If we aren’t angry and don’t show a proper reaction after losing at home to those b*****ds (and they weren’t exactly all that either) as well then we really do have a problem.

One of our all time greats and I love him dearly but he absolutely needs dropping.
