That kind of analysis over Wenger might come at the end of the season though. I can see a few big end-of season articles about him (unless Chelsea really implode). Different for Benitez - the fact that we are still fighting means that his judgement is getting called on a weekly basis. Almost a back-handed compliment. The real issue, as you have correctly pointed out, is the abuse he was getting from our own support on Saturday. And the kind of abuse too.

I think that's right - they are irrelevant now, other than when they visit Anfield and Old Trafford. The knives might come out a bit earlier if they bomb out of the CL though. I wouldn't be surprised to see them overhaul Chelsea for 4th spot, mind!

There were a few that were vocal in the M block on Saturday as well. Nothing co-ordinated but shouts of the "fat spanish c***" etc
