Alberto, Ilori, Markovic, Balotelli should also depart. We're more than overstocked in midfield. Even if Lucas leaves, we'll still have too many given we're not in Europe. I reckon Stewart will get a few games too as well as Grujic. -
Can't see Klopp playing both Origi and Sturridge unless we're chasing a game. Firmino has been poor at times, but Klopp will go with him I reckon in one of the front 3 positions or he could put Phil there and one of the other CM's in.

Another vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmZFvBPporE Interesting how deep he plays at times. Whenever he gets the ball his first thought is to start an atttack or burst forward. Has awesome acceleration from a standing start. Again likes to get stuck in with defensive duties. Could be a huge upgrade on the likes of Milner, Allen. The cross for the goal reminded me of Milner's cross for Lovren against Dortmund.

I watched a few of his international vids since we got linked with him (there wasn't that many vids before) and didn't realise he is quite a gritty player and puts in a shift. Even gets physical with Lewa in this friendly game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxgKs16VB5A

Dirk Kuyt on Georginio Wijnaldum and Liverpool under Klopp 09:07, 22 Jul 2016 Updated 10:55, 22 Jul 2016 By Joe Rimmer Dirk Kuyt has given his seal of approval to imminent new Liverpool signing Georginio Wijnaldum - and he says that ‘something is growing’ for the Reds under Jurgen Klopp. And Kuyt, who scored 71 games in 285 games for Liverpool, revealed that the Reds have kept tabs on Wijnaldum since he was a youth player at Feyenoord. The 35-year-old, who is back with his former club Feyenoord, told De Telegraaf: “(It is) a wonderful transfer for Gini. The best compliment for him was that his name in my time at Liverpool buzzed inside the club. “He was watched by the scouts already in his youth days at Feyenoord as a very great talent. When I played for Liverpool, I heard them frequently say that he would be a wonderful asset one day. “He eventually ended up at PSV and Newcastle, before moving to Anfield. He is now at a top club in England and he’ll be at home.” Kuyt was pictured at Anfield for last season’s Europa League semi-final victory over Villarreal, and the Dutchman says that he was impressed with what he saw from the current Liverpool side. And he has tipped Klopp’s side for success - with Wijnaldum at the heart of it. He added: “Led by Klopp, Liverpool want to go way up again. I myself have been at the semi-finals in the Europa League and then I noticed that something is growing. “Klopp sees Gini as a nice player. I know him well, he also did well in Brazil. “He is not only a good player, but also a player with the lungs of a horse.” Wijnaldum is expected to complete a transfer to Anfield today , the 25-year-old is set to undergo a medical after Liverpool finalised the terms of a deal worth £25m. He will become the sixth signing of the Klopp era at Anfield and the second most expensive after the £30m capture of Sadio Mane from Southampton http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/dirk-kuyt-georginio-wijnaldum-liverpool-11649192 Dirk approves.

I'm now more concerned about full back positions than I am about midfield now. At least in midfield we have numbers, even though quality of options is in question. Randall, Smith & Moreno do not fill me with any confidence. Flanno has been awful at times, so no loss if he goes out on loan. I hope to f*** we're bringing in some reinforcements for both left and right back positions. -

Dom King saying talks are ongoing over the structure of payment which could yet see a player go on loan to Newcastle as part of the arrangement. Good that deal has been agreed which means Wijnaldum can fly out to the U.S once his medical is done. -

Indeed. Exciting season ahead hopefully. No way Klopp doesn't have a masterplan. He's assembling the pieces together. Still need a quality LB. I'm still hoping for us to sign Dahoud, long shot I know. -

Joyce saying Allen prefers Swansea move and that fee could rise to £13.5m. Swansea need to pull their finger out instead of lowballing. -

Some finish from Grujic on that replay on his other foot. Nice control to set it up. -

Mane looks a proper live wire. Magic feet to get out of those tight situations. Very impressed by him. -

Huddersfield could have had 2 red cards easily. Should have been at least a yellow on that block on Coutinho when he was clean through. Was a good save for the pen. -

Smith is actually a hell of a lot better going forward than Moreno.
