We need people of class to take us on a level - Gerrard, Carra, Alonso and Mash, hard to find, I know. But why buy players that are not going to take us to the next level i.e. Gamst? Come on Rafa lets go buy some quality that will add value to the first 11 not just the squad In my opinion Villa, Tevez, Queresma, Ribery, Eto and alves would do this. If we sign 1 or more of these I?d be a very happy man. YNWA

Roma's defending yesterday was 2nd rate at best, there is no way in a million years we would let them have that much space to run at without being closed down, also the way we bossed them at Anfield i think they will be worrying about us more so then we would of them. fair enough they beet us but how lucky were they. lets not forget we had kaka and Crespo running riot against us til raffa got his mind going. we need some quality to go straght into the first team under the age of 26. this way we can have quality for a few years while at the same time it allows the kids that rafa is buying to flourish in the acadamy. i would love us to sign some of these players (age in brackets) Alves( 23), Ribery (23), Quesma (23), Eto (25), Villa(25) i also would like to see us buy Bale and Nugent , both young but also have the potential to make a big impact. Bale(18) - looks asured at the back, solid defender, sweet left foot, supports the attack and good at set pieces Nugent (25) - takes people on, knows where the goal is and looks better every time i see him play, i also think he would be a cheaper option then if we were to go for someone like eto or villa where the clubs are going to ask for £25m+ thoughts please YNWA

riise and kewell w(hen fit) had a really good understanding down the left hand side last season and this was instrumental on that long run of wins at the end of the season. aurellio at times looks good but doesn't pose that atacking threat when playing left mid. this has affected the balance in the team and as much as it hurts to say, i think its time for sami to take a back seat, he has been a great servent to the club but i feel this will be 1 season too many for him and we will drop point as a result. great signing, he's a class player which works his b****xs off for the team. just what we need at a cut price. As a boyhood liverpool fan, and he knows what the big games are all about to us as fans, no disrespect to some of the players we have signed in the past, but i dont think they fully understood just how big the games are against teams likes manure and everscum. benitez doesnt take any s*** off anyone i.e le tellec, djib. so hopefully he can keep him undercheck, + the likes of carra and robbie (legends) could have a calming influence on him, both have had their mad moments in the past aswell. good luck boy, i for one am rooting for you fowler, bellamy,crouch and kuyt?, i think im gonna cream my pants, too late, YNWA

i think that you missunderstood me, i meant walk into all the teams not just 1 of them alonso is close to world class but not yet, i do think that he is a better player then all of those players you mention however. as for seadorf, he is not the player he was 10 years ago at that time he was phenomenal. but he would't walk into barca's first 11 all fully fit, van bommel and xavi would start ahead of him. but if he can contiue his good form next season as well, id call him world class, at the moment id just say hes class

a world class player is someone that any club in the world would let walk straight into their first team i.e barca, madrid?, milan, juve, bayern and even chelski, manure and arsenhole. gerrard is deffinatly 1 and i'd carra also, alonso is close but not there yet, as with finnen. shame raffa didn't arrive a few seasons earlier as we would he'd be in there, 1 more season like this one and i'd call him world class. shame his getting on a bit now. lets hope kromkamp learns all he can from the leagues top right back.
