Andy-oh-six

This is more like it from the times: 'Alonso operated near the pinnacle of his powers, directing play with his vision, touch and execution. He was simply immense, the pass he played for Liverpool?s second goal, about 70 yards straight to the feet of Cisse, the most exquisite demonstration of his talent. Taking the ball off goalkeeper Jose Reina, he took one look and delivered the perfect ball.' times report

Carra wasn't impressed. He was shaking his head at Xabi when he saw it.

Give him his due. He's got a good touch...for a fat bloke with man boobs.

class performance from Xabi. He took absolute control of play and was simply outstanding. They were doing their best to knock him off his game with late challenges but he rose above it. His delivery from the set plays was excellent too.

As long as they remember their jester hats for Saturday...

It is a Len Capeling article! Don't listen to anything that t*** writes.

good news

Must be an old Danish custom.

Another good performance in his natural position. He looks a very good addition to the squad and will keep Steve on his toes.

the bloke at anfield for ssn has said he ahs spoke to Parry and the deal is apparently 'on the table' but hasn't been signed yet.

no takers and a massive pay off.

Surely the assistant ref would have seen the incident more clearly than the ref. He should have made the decision and told Bennet. Arsenal milked it and got what they wanted. Well done to them for showing what professionals they are. I'm f***ing pissed off here as we were heading for a classic, undeserved away point. Something we haen't had for ages.

7:30 KO at Anfield.

Time to revert to counter attacking. One chance, one goal, three points! Those stats are pretty shocking.

2-1 the final score though. Not good enough tonight! They play on the counter attack and will be prepared for an onslaught. It's just a matter of converting whatever chances come along. No problem then

'Come here, my pretty.'

It's usually a good idea not to believe Sky.

The FA have yet to decide whether to charge him...

You're full of good news tonight!

Not surprising to hear that. Wouldn't be surprised to see him back on Wednesday though.

f***!! Agger has to step up to the plate in the league and Djimi will need to pull a performance out on Wednesday. f***!!

Kroumgamp gave him an earful a couple of times. Good on the Dane.

The best praise we can give Gruncamp is that we didn't miss Finnan at all. He was very good.

I thought he did OK against Charlton on the right.
