    Six weeks break over the World Cup didn’t lead to a change. He won’t change it now.

    It’s the same formation and approach with hugely inferior players in the front three and midfielders who are past it. It’s a dog’s dinner. Earlier in the season we switched to a 4-4-2 type formation occasionally which helped but he’s gone away from that and back to a failing formation.

    We’ve just bought a(nother) player that plays on the left of a front three. Don’t think it’s going anywhere.

    Playing him in a midfield three with two other immobile midfielders is cruel. His best displays have been on the right of a four. But he shouldn’t be anywhere near the team at the moment.

    Elliot doesn’t really work in a midfield three and Oxlade doesn’t really work in a front three (and doubtful whether he works anywhere these days). Would rather see 4-4-2 with that line up. Hendo injured?
