If, and that's a big if, we'd get 12-15 million for selling Kuyt, we could seriously look at a top notch striker instead of fishing around these Toivonen and Remy charachters. That said, I'd absolutely hate to see Kuyt go.

The only positive spin I can put on this is that Masch has decided to stay another season and Gerrard playing further up field. Pure conjectury from my part, mind.

That statement is just astonishing. It was mostly the ladies and gentlement of the press who had a hard time grasping the width of the problems that we've been facing. With lack of width being just the start of it.

Yeah, that's just one too far. I always held him in high esteem, but now I dunno.

I'd add: "Apart from Torres and Reina." I know that, but we spent much of last season without a decent left-sided player. Then all of a sudden Babel starts to get minutes on the pitch, but all the time on the left. My point is that you could get much more out of Babel, who has looked a completely different player on the right, whereas Kuyt - the intelligent and adaptable player he is - looks exactly the where-ever he plays.
