Oh My Good Lord!!! i've been away for a short period and cannot believe what i've come back to. I just cannot believe it. I feel absolutely nauseated and sick. This cannot be for real. I've said it before, and i'll say it again, removing Rafa will be the single most pathetic decision at Liverpool FC for years. Yes, of course, the club will always live on but not everyone obviously realises how Rafa has really taken us back to the pinnacle of world football..you dont get to two champions league finals in such a short period of time without footballing genius...ask Old Fergie, Moaninho, Wenger, and a multitude of other world class football managers. i wish i personally had a fortune big enough to buy this absolutely fantastic club of ours. And you know what i would do, i'd personally ensure Rafa was tied up with us for the long term, even giving him way say a share in the overall ownership of the club. And i'd try to ensure that his transfer targets are brought to the club as swiftly as possible. Not one single Liverpool supporter the world over would not agree with the importance of tying up the Monster deal. This guy is fast on his way to becoming a Liverpool legend. The way Rafa managed to bring him over to Liverpool is the stuff of legend. Absolutely amazing stuff. Long may it continue. What more can one say. Rafael Benitez would be invited to manage any of the top teams in the worlds, club and national. It is an absolute honour to have him here with us. It would be absolutely sickening to lose him. I cannot believe that i'm even discussing this. And all those completely fickle thickos who were so desperate for Rafa to forego the Champions League, just to be able to concentrate on the league (though i understand your sentiments and i'd swap Number 19 for anything bar winning the CL itself) well, i hope you're happy with yourselves now. Three points behind Man Utd, and with a game in hand...speaks absolute volumes for how far we've come this time around. I cannot believe that Rafa's position is even up for discussion. The Yanks don't know nothing about football, or this great institution of ours. They just think they do. Imagine what would have happened had the Glazers thought about removing Old Fergie. It just would never have happened. So why should we put up all this kak. To all of you who will be showing our love for Rafa, absolutely fantastic, i wish i could be there with you tonight. Just know that there will be thousands, nay, millions supporting you support Rafa and the boys tonight. As for Porto, they have absolutely no idea whats going to hit them tonight. Absolutely no idea!!!

Pepe Reina is a quite awesome goalkeeper. He was brilliant at Villareal, and hes even better with us. And the thing is, hes going to continue improving all the time. Credit has to go to Rafa for making sure we captured his signing early on. I've maintained all along and i'll say it again, we're going places, and we're going to get there sooner than people think. Believe. Come on you Mighty Reds.

Anelka would be an awesome addition to the squad, and a fantastic compliment to Torres. I think his past reputation of being a sulk clouds him a little unfairly. I think hes come a long way since those days. In most of the clips i've seen of him this year hes been quite brilliant. Anelka is one of those rare breed of players that make something happen out of nothing..we need such players..go get him Rafa!!

The Return of Real Football, just cant wait..a win at Pompeii will be awesome, the ball keeps rolling, the momentum builds...come on you Mighty Red Men!

Awesome goal..he knew exactly what he was doing and the skill used was immense. Anyone who suggest otherwise, well they need to watch the goal until their convinced. And if that still doesnt work i've got a good feeling that Babels got much more in his locker, and he'll score many better goals this season. We already had a very solid unit, and just needed to add a few extra signings in the Barnes, Beardsley, Aldridge mould. That team went on to greatness. I think almost everyone is quite delighted with our major signings this year.

If we can do that, i think it is more than definitely on! We have an awesome squad. The players selected on Saturday have to do the business, and with the likes of Torres, Voronin, Alonso, Pennant fully rested i am more than confident that they will.

The tension mounts - apparently a 'respectable' poster on RAWK is saying that we have agreed an 11 million pound fee with a club for a player. The player is currently on holiday, and there is no more than that really.

Gerrard, Carra, Pepe..now Alonso, with others to follow..well i'm absolutely made up..absolutely ecstatic. What a fantastic start to the summer. Its great to be able to keep our best players...to be able to successfully convince them of the good times that lie ahead. Rafa is bringing together a fabulous squad of players that actually love our beautiful club, love playing for him, are fantastic professionals, confident and desperate to bring us more success. Its obvious Rafas got an eye for fabulous footballers, and when it hasnt worked out hes not afraid to part company either. We are heading in the right direction, and with a few more additions we'll be making a serious challenge for the title. I would have been very worried if Alonso had jumped ship. By keeping him we make the strongest statement of intent. And to be quite honest i absolutely agree with the poster above who said that the signing of Alonso will be hard to surpass. So to the doom-mongers, please cheer up because this really has been a fabulous week. A fabulous week indeed. Bring on next season!
