For me Riise is a great squad player who fully deserves a new contract and all this moaning about his lack of a right foot is ridiculous as nearly all left footers are completely rubbish with their right.

Fowler is only a year older than Morientes who despite his undoubted class has had plenty of injury problems himself since he joined and to me still doesn't look like he will ever fully adapt to the pace of the league so I would prefer a highly motivated Fowler any day.

I know that injury will be an excuse not to play in the ANC.

It looked like Kewell got booked for calling Arteta a cheatin f***** when he got away with a blatant handball.

Cisse can be a hit and hope merchant at times but that finish was top class. He looked and played like he really wanted to be part of the team for a change and what a difference it made.

IMO Like Benitez,Wenger sees Owen as a poacher who can't play up front on his own and needs to play up front with a bigger man and both teams would have to completely change their way of playing just to accomodate him.

He has also played against Brazil and Holland away when playing in central mid he was the best player on the pitch.

German football is sh it. Only monkeys rate a player by the team he plays for. IMO Reid has more quality in his toenail than Hargreaves has in his whole body.

IMO he makes himself look busy by running around like a headless chicken and when he does get the ball is very average. With Alonso out we have been seriously lacking a player with composure on the ball and in Andy Reid the best player in England outside the prem lge would be a steal at 4m. He can play centre mid aswell as on the left wing, he has a great range of passing, is capable of taking on players which we have been lacking, delivers quality set pieces which again we have been lacking and IMO he is Liverpool quality. Without him I fear we will continue to struggle in midfield.
