Whenever the ball gets hoofed over the top of the back four and you would expect a typical mundane goalkeeper claim, Kirkland is stood rooted to his goal line.
Yep, I like Redders too. I think he knows the game quite well but struggles to formulate his ideas into words. It will be interesting to see how his on screen relationship with the bitter pans out.
Just watching the post match comments from the internationals. There seems to be a real under current of dislike between the two. Gray seems to really rattle Jamie's cage, and it's almost painful to watch. I think it started a couple of weeks ago. Fat Andy went on a bitter rant about Gerrard telling Rafa he wouldn't play any more, which pissed Redknapp off unsurprisingly. To be fair it's more interesting than the 'we must all agree' agenda that the BBC promote.
I like Pleat, he amuses me like Big Ron used to. Tyldsley is constantly looking for digs in my opinion. Same as Andy Gray, I was shocked at his performance on Saturday. He got a lot of flak from Evertonians when he did his 'You Beauty' quote to that Gerrard goal, I think he is trying very hard to be loved by them again.
As opposed to when he went to meet Moyes. "Hello Craig, I'm great, I got these bunch of no hopers to 4th last season, I'm great, Pride of Merseyside, People's Club etc" "Where's the toilet?"
If the rule book is constantly being modified to make the game softer then I can still complain. I don't blame the refs though I blame the clowns in suits wrecking the game.
Seen it again and it does look worse on some of the replays. Nevertheless some of the yellow cards I have seen being dished out in this tournament are scandalous.
The games a joke. It's becoming non-contact. Rediculous amount of yellow cards given out in this tournament. If they are going to give this amount out it should be 3 = red. As that for that challenge = red .
