Ignoring all the obvious ones.... Mad Erik - always wanted to see him score at the Kop end, reckon the place would have erupted. Joey Jones, he just loved playing for us and always gave his all. Jimmy Case, I think he had the hardest shot ever.

You sir, are one of the "disposable fans of the new millenium"!

Noble comments, does this thought process also apply to Cisse?

Morientes: "I lift these hands, dear God, to You, in praise and thanks for all you do." Fowler: " Will you stop taking the p1ss and Kick off"

You didn't see the game last night then?

Anyone know if you can get a kop adult/child ticket for the utd game if you only have a standard season ticket?

Agger.....blonde.....

When Fowler came on we discovered a cutting edge up front. The movement between Morientes and Fowler was good, but I can't see Morientes staying beyond the summer. He just seems to lack conviction and determination for me, or is he just unlucky?

Graham? He's a goodie but don't think he's a scouser??

What like Fowler's was?

I think we settled for the draw in the last 10 minutes, they didn't, so I don't think they "got a break with a last minute goal" at all.

It was a booking and no more. So Neville's passionate about beating us, so what. We only want players who play for the shirt, that's what Neville does for them.

I think we were also playing right to left on the camera angle.

Riley's got Utd's player of the season award for the last couple of years hasn't he?

Wish the "journalists" involved with such rags would get themselves a proper job. It always baffles me that they can get paid to peddle lies, bigotry and plain stupidity.

We are still a PLC though, and Moores has a duty to other shareholders to notify them of potential investment as it might affect the value of their shares???

If the Krafts have undertaken due diligence wouldn't there have been something on the takeover panel's website about it? The people looking at investing in Villa have had to make a statement to the stock exchange in the last few days stipulating that they are going through due diligence and it might not lead to an offer being made. Haven't seen or heard anything of this nature re us and any potential investors since L4 were on the takeover panel listings last summer(?).

I'm disappointed that he fails to fall properly when an opposition player comes withing 6 feet of him (a la Joe Cole). If he doesn't pay attention to this aspect of play in training I would consider benching him if I were SGE - Rafa obviously has a blind spot here as well, as the rest of the team also seem to lack this important skill.

Thought he had a good game tonight. It would be great to see him back at his best.

Thought Poll was shocking, absolutely no need to book Arteta (either time), Crouch or Kewell to name but 4 of the yellow cards he dished out. Also thought Neville was unlucky to go, but I wasn't complaining! Next worse performance for me was Sissoko, possibly his poorest game since he joined us. Not that it mattered, it was only Everton.

Placed his shot well, which some say he can't do, and linked up play quite well, which some say he can't do, strange eh? Also nice to see him throw his shirt into the crowd at the end of the game.

Let's hope he has a good game!

I put this down to poor management by Parry et al, allowing the situation to develop in the first place. As soon as Rafa arrived he laid down the law, we wouldn't have got £8 million otherwise.

He bites like a salmon doesn't he? Wonder if he knows how many trophies we've won since the year 2000?

It's not just the top 2/3 who get the decisions though. Look at Riley completely missing the handball by Baros for Villa's first goal against Everton. It was absolutely scandalous, he was directly in line, watched Baros bring it down with his arm and just ignored it. Seems it isn't just Utd who can buy him these days, allegedly of course, it could be he is just completely incapable of doing the job.
