  1. The last 15 minutes was like watching a cat play with a mouse.
  2. aaaah the poor wee Scottish man, he's sounds heart broken.
  3. Looked to me like Terry pushed the defender when the goal went in
  4. Think the main commentator has.
  5. Yeah, but according to Sky he grew up playing football on the beach, so the pitch isn't the problem.
  6. Biased? Andy Gray? Surely not....
  7. Does this mean we shouldn't agree with him?
  8. That's part of the point I was making in an earlier post.
  9. and of course he had none of these attributes when we (and others) chased him for 2 years before parting with £14 million did he?
  10. When Cisse first arrived he was very confident (could use cocky and arrogant), he was used to being No 1, hadn't really experienced failure in his carrer. Since joining us it has all gone pear shaped for him. Rafa decided that he didn't fit in with the style of play he wanted from the team and has tried to sell him at every opportunity. Cisse's confidence has been shot to pieces, which you can see whenever he gets on the pitch. He hasn't handled the situation well, which has made it worse for him, and barring a miracle I think he will be off in the summer. Rafa clearly doesn't want him, he has given plenty of public support for Crouch and Morientes but very little (if any) to Cisse. I think Cisse will do very well at his next club, if he gets a manager who will manage him differently, e.g. make him feel special and all the touchy feely stuff Rafa doesn't appear to indulge in.
  11. Thought there weren't going to be any replays for this round, cos of the World Cup/fixture congestion?
  12. 12 games without scoring apparently 12 games without looking like scoring why does he still appear to be first choice with Rafa?
  13. B*gger, hope it's not too bad and he gets well soon.
  14. That much is clear.
  15. I think there was an element of complacency about our performance tonight - we had a number of players believing the hype about The European Champions playing one of the poorer teams left in the competition.
  16. Should have at least made their keeper break sweat.
  17. b****x
  18. We are playing the type of forward balls that would suit Cisse, instead they are highlighting how slow our forward line is.
  19. schadenfreude, noun: A malicious satisfaction obtained from the misfortunes of others. patronising adj : (used of behavior or attitude) characteristic of those who treat others with condescension prick, noun Tim Rich
  20. Not trying to indulge in a p1ssing contest mate. Utd have been the benchmark over the last 10-12 years and the press have rightly lauded them. Now Ferguson is on the slide the press will now shoot him down, seems to be the way they operate. We have come in for some deserved criticism at times during the same period, so do I get off on it? No, but I do think there are some very poor journalists out there earning a good living for writing drivel.
  21. You're talking about 3-4 occasions. Generally speaking the press have held Utd up as the benchmark since football was invented in 92. Having said that I haven't pored over the Utd articles in the press as you appear to have done, indeed preferring instead to focus my attention on the obvious bias against Liverpool over this period.
  22. So he ran 60 yards and kissed his badge (when he found it) in front of our fans when they scored, so what. Doesn't deserve to be banned for that. For being an ugly Utd loving fecker yes, but not for that.
  23. They are starting to turn on him, particularly now that they have Jose to drool over, but I don't think they used to "gun for Ferguson every year".
  24. I think some of you are making a very bold assumption that the twots you mention (such as fat bastid Samuel) can read.
  25. Fair play to him, he's right. Took the stick very well yesterday I thought. Still hate the Mancs obviously, but Chelsea are catching them up fast.
