I'm getting so frazzled by all this I need reminding: Bearing in mind that circumstances change (credit crunch etc), and can alter decisions and commitments made, where have the americans lied? No debt on the club apart from stadium cash and a transfer pot. I guess the americans could have borrowed/paid this themselves a la Abramovic, but was this really realistic? Klinsmann - they were (probably too) honest about this.

What would make me happy with G+H? It's complicated; I'm backing Rafa, and want him to have 1 more season with full backing at least. But is there any sense in giving him a massive new contract (and possibly payoff)? When does his current one expire? The finance hasn't been handled well, and maybe they could have used more of their own money but it's not as bad as was feared. If the stadium gets built as it looks, starting soon, I'm happy on that side. As for transfers - They can't come out and say 'we're giving Rafa £50m plus any sales money', cos we'll get robbed blind in the summer. Only they and possibly Rafa know that. If we've signed Masch by the end of Jan, can we really expect any more? Will they back him in the summer? i wouldn't rule it out. They could come out and do a press conference to say sorry, hugging Rafa with smiles all round, but are they likely to do something like that when it would just be dismissed as a PR gimmick. So what can they do apart from just get on with it? I think there's a chance that we could end up happy in the end, but we may not know for sure till the summer and we may be in the dark till then. Having said all this, Id still prefer DIC.

HKS are a Texas architects, I doubt that's who DIC would have picked. Maybe they want 76k, and prefer a Parrybowl or want all the extras that have been presumably taken out? Just a thought.

Just a thought: If DIC were to buy us, wouldn't they prefer their own choice of stadium design, with possibly bigger capacity/cost? Therefore, does the fact that all this has taken place mean that DIC is unlikely? If I were about to buy the club, I'd want my own input into the stadium. Unless they have been consulted

Make sure the club etc are aware, it may just get lost in Setanta's customer service fog. Edit: This could be a good campaign to hit them where it hurts without impacting too much on the fans.
