All it would have taken for Owen to at least win back a smidgen of respect would have been to say 'Thanks Slur Alex but I can't move to United out of respect for the Liverpool fans.' Then he could have gone wherever the f*ck he likes - hell I'd have even been okay with seeing him in an Everton shirt.
