    We Are s***

I have no idea. Thats why I'm annoyed. Obviously as I said earlier we need a natural goalscorer. And probably a natural right/left winger who consistantly causes problems. Rafa can't be absolved of blame though, although he can't be blamed either. I'm sure watching games like this is just as frustrating for him as it is for us.

Yeah indeed, they're 3 good strikers. But we need someone on top of those 3 in my opinion for games like this, someone who you know is going to score given the chance. It's so f***ing annoying though. We're so much better than the league table suggests. The Mancs squad is no way 15 or so points better than ours.

But then look back before late November?? Last month its all come together very nicely, mainly to Bellamy finding a bit of form and Stevie getting back on it aswell. Still doesnt hide the fact that our stirkers have been extremely hit and miss this year. And in my opinion we still very much lack a natural goalscrorer. Kuyt is good, alot of hard work, but he just doensnt finish like your Rush, or your Fowler. I know its f***ing hard to find a player of that calibre. I just want another one at Liverpool, we just need it if were going to seriously challenge for the title again any time soon.

f*** Lucas Neill - Buy a f***ing striker who can score. Embarassing how many games weve had like this this season.
  5. Please no. Riise is struggling a bit, but he's still better than that.
  6. It's always s*** at your average home now. At least all our "biggest" homes are still to come though. Barca should be good aslong as the game isnt over after the first leg. Arsenal in the FA should be alright. Mancs, Everton and Chelsea, in the league should get going, although theyll probs all get moved to 12:45. Apart from that every game will be as dead as every other average game has been this season; sad but true. The way the club sell the tickets just panders to the one game a season fan - I mean no league homes being sold at the window... why?
  7. Thats the thing though. The rent boys got him in to add a bit of depth to their defence and he's just a laughing stock. Kinda the same as us with Josemi and Kromkamp. Mediocore defenders are nothing but trouble
  8. I dunno, I have no idea what full backs are available at the moment and for how much - I doubt many people do. I'm quite surprised the high esteem most people now seem to hold Lucas Neill in to be honest. Me and my mates usually just take the piss out of him. What will be will be though. I'm sure everyone will give him a chance if he does sign.
  9. For Liverpool in total: 21 Starts, 66 appearances in total. 9 goals. Dunno about Prem or not prem. My mates a B'burn fan and he had the same complaints about him whilst he was there on loan, he got a chance as a starter there, had a couple of really good games but then for some just wasnt really invovled at all. Just don't think the league suits him.
  10. Both were failures in my opinion. If you don't agree then fair enough. Yes, they were part of our European Cup and FA Cup winning squads, but I for one went to games hoping neither of them were in the starting line up. Me not liking Lucas Neill isnt going to stop us signing him.. (well maybe, dunno if Rafa reads this ) but yeah, I just think we can do better.
  11. He's playing well in Spain, but i'd imagine that is because the game suits him alot more. He's had a long time in the Premiership now, and for me the League just doesnt suit him at all. On his day he's a really good little player who can make a difference. But all too often he just went through games as an annoymous figure. Bellamy is much better than him in my opinion, much stronger anyway, and definately more effective in the premier league. If were keeping all our current strikers, I think a few million for Pongolle would be good business.
  12. Well yeah but that doesnt mean its going to work does it. Kromkamp and Josemi have both already been signed as supposed Full back cover and only lasted a year between them. I just dont want a third player who comes on and puts us in more trouble then we were before. For me Neill is that type of player, he gets Sent off or gives away more pennos then most. Saying all this we'll sign him, Finnan will get injured and then he'll play every game, be amazing and we'll win the league. Then Rafa can get his praise

    Cisse

    Carnage.
  14. Me neither.. I'd rather have Warnock. The deal is pointless if Warnock goes the otherway. Don't really like Neill at all, think hes an average footballer and a bit of a t*** on the field...
  15. hmmmmm... wanted chelsea to win really. Can't have the mancs winning the league, they'll never shut up if they win it this year.
  16. Want the easiest draw possible really so we can have a chance of playin the mancs in the next round... (if they get that far is another matter.. In a strange way I want them too) Oh that'd be beautiful, 7.45 kick off against that lot, Anfield would be rocking.
  17. That'd be class, having 202 right on top of the away fans. The Kop would deff sing off them I reckon. I love sitting near opposition fans, just seems to add to it, just a shame MX is always full of clowns, and the lower anny is silent. I'd be all for moving em next to the Kop. It's never going to get better for average league homes though, as Kev said, too many one game a season fans, and if the club keeps selling the tickets the way it does (eg. all tickets online/the phone and none at the windows), then this isnt going to change.
  18. I think you've misunderstood me there. I don't mean pay on the gate, that'd be absolute carnage. I mean a day of window sales before they put all the tickets on the phones or online, or even just at the same time like they do for European / Domestic Cup Home games and all away games. Makes it so much easier for people to go and get tickets.
  19. Well obviously thats a factor but their is definately more to it. Newcastle was pretty dead comparted to Gala, Bordeaux and even Reading in the Carling Cup, as are most league homes in the evening. We'll see what its like vs Pompey, but I remember when we played Pompey midweek at Anfield a couple of years back and it was dead then aswell. I see no reason why they cant sell tickets at the window for premiership games.
  20. Its all about Paradise or Kebaabish... Not a big fan of Hot n Tender myself. Or if your in town, "Mr. Kebab"...
  21. They should actually sell some Prem tickets at the windows. No coincidence the atmosphere is better at cup/european games in my opinion.
  22. Yeah suppose it depends where you are in the ground. I was right next to the villa fans - and only a handful of the people around me would join in with anything. A Steward also threatened to chuck me out for banging the back of the Main Stand to try and get some sort of atmosphere going. People seem hell bent on sucking any kind of atmosphere out of the game.
  23. Rafa song never really got properly going though, despite about 6 attempts.. Kuyt song was good... but that was about it. I thought it was awful yesterday to be honest, worst this season from where I was.
  24. Fair play to them, at least they sang something. 3-1 up and they were still singing more than us. There wasnt even a noticable YNWA yesterday in the last few minutes of the game. Our home support at your average weekend afternoon prem game is just embarrassing now. It's a shame because away from home and at Cup/European games our support is f***ing quality. I dunno why people bother going to the match and then sit there in silence apart from telling you to sit down every now and again... Just watch it at home, you'd get a better view on the telly anyway, and wouldn't be annoyed by the people who actually try and create some sort of atmosphere so the away fans don't just rip the piss outta us week in week out. It's not as bad if your in the Kop, but I've been in MX for most of our league homes this year. Should have a day of window sales before it goes on Phone/Internet... Phone and Internet sale seats just seem to attract a bunch of first timers who are only going to take a pic of themselves holding a scarf in front of the pitch instead of actually supporting the team.
  25. Most league homes, aways that go to general, pretty much all cup homes, semi finals and finals.
