I can only think that Rafa wanted another winger/ attacking midfielder on the bench. Pennant might be sold, Lucas and Babbel at in Beijing and N'Gog, Nemeth, etc are strikers.

I wouldn't say that. I just think it attracts a younger demographic of fans but at the end of the day we are all just fans. They need educating on it. A few weeks ago i said on RAWK and this is absolutely true - I was at the office and an Arsenal fan who knows my distaste for The Sun showed me a story on their website regarding Barry which had 30 odd replies on their message board from mostly Liverpool fans. I just think that after 20 years there is a whole new generation who don't know the facts.

When i looked yesterday around 80% of the 100 odd posts implyed that it was a shame but not a big deal.
