Aurelio has played 6 out of 7 games in the league & played 4 european ties.

Exactly, the whole left side was attack minded, maybe subbing Aurelio for Riise 2nd half would've made it a lot more comfortable. Towards the end they were coming at us left, right & centre though. Easy to say with hindsight, but if we'd shut up shop at 3-0 we'd have had less problems. Rafa & the boys must have thought they could sneak another. And eth, thanks for pointing it out. We were far from s***. We were very good going forward but sacrificed defence in doing so. To say Gerrard offers little or nothing to the defence is just madness. He was very good in closing players down I thought, a shade of the old Gerrard there.
