I know what you are saying but the fact of the matter is 1 assist for a player of alonsos quality is poor , especially over a season.Masch aint going to get many either so we are severly lacking in that department unless Sg moves back and we get a good aimar type to play behind torres.

Its quite simple with Carra great defender s**** footballer , his form has been poor all season and his lack of pace is worrying.

Kuyt has a good game and all of a sudden the forums opinion changes. He is an ok hard working cf who isnt good enough for liverpool,I like him because he never gives up but the fact remains he should be shipped out and a better striker brought in to support torres in the summer.

I think overall Rafa has done well considering that he has had to wheel and deal but it seems that any player we buy is just a steady player for the price played.Its hard to put into words what im trying to say but if you look at all our signings we have got exactly what we have expected. How many of our players bought have turned out better than we expected for the amount payed.Not one of our signings in the last 3 yrs has done anything or turned into anything above what is expected for the price we have payed.I just wonder what our scouts actually do because they havent uneathed any talent for the first team yet. Its difficult what im trying to put down in words but who out of our so called first team squad has suprised you?

If you think net spend isnt an issue then you are mistaken. Cant you see that Rafa has tried to address some of the areas of the team , we could have simao rw alves lw vidic cm but were it not for our clown.How much are they worth now? The thing is Rafa has to wheel and deal to make money to spend on better players we aint got an abramovic we had moores.Rafa has been trying to do a del boy thats the only way we can try and compete ... make money.He has signed a few frees ie 2 keepers where we could make 14m quid for nothing, made money on various other deals and hopefully more.Everyone makes it out to be so easy sign so and so and we are sorted , i wish it were only half that easy. Some signings obviously havent worked out but thats the gamble he has had to take.
