How much would Micah Richards cost right now? I think we do need more english players in our team, but we also need them to be amazing! not just squad players. And we know they are not going to come on the cheap. We should be looking at players like Richards, Joe Cole, Johnson(i cant really think of more to be honest that we could actually buy) Anyways spending money on Richards makes a lot of sense, hes a very young lad who is very very promising and could already easily fit in our starting XI. And would add to the core of our team for many years to come.

id rather have anderson, hammill, nemeth on the bench for us than benayoun, voronin, kewell etc who are payed so much more. Hopefully with having 7 subs next season we will see some more youngsters coming through and being given chances

What about Fernando Llorente from Bilbao? Hes big, strong, holds up the ball well, technically gifted. I think we should look for a player with those characteristics, not saying it should be these players but should have this style, Ibrahimovic, Berbatov, Llorente, players who can do something on their own, but are good at making others play. They can hold up the ball and then release Torres also.

Thats what i was thinking, its a fine line that divides success and failure. I know that our team is not the finished article but a lot of things come to play in the length of a full season.

Its a shame when you look at the table now and realize how much that period when we could only draw games affected us. I know its all what ifs and stuff but we could've easily been up there at the moment. I really hope next season is our year because this one could've been ours.

My opinion is that we need a striker to partner torres an amazing right winger/midfielder A left back of the class of carra agger finnan Everything else is a luxury depending on who we ship out... i would sell kuyt and voronin and get 1 striker, someone who compliments torres maybe berbatov who can hold up the ball and get other players in the game. kewell (out of contract), one of riise and aurelio maybe both if the young argie left back can make the grade, maybe pennant if we needed funds for the world class right winger we need to complete our midfield. Team would look like this ------------------------Reina----------------------------- Finnan-----Carra----------------Agger-----New Left Back New winger------masche-----stevie-----------babel------ ---------------Torres-------new striker------------------- If we spend 10m on the left back and 15-20 on the right and 20 on the striker thats sort of what we spent last year by selling voronin, kuyt, pennant, and riise/aurelio that would give us considerable money to play with we could spend an extra bit on young players and reduce our squad to give the youngsters a chance. we currently have 3 players who can produce something out of nothing in gerrard, babel and torres. if we could add another 2 that would be amazing.

My opinion would be to keep crouch who even though wont win us the title as our main foward is a really good option of the bench and in a squad rotation. sell voronin and kuyt. Buy a proven striker to compliment Torres maybe someone like Berbatov who can hold up the ball and get others in the game. Then play Babel more as a foward and give some minutes to one of the up and coming youngsters such as Nemeth.

let bilbao keep their players!!! amorebieta is a venezuelan basque like me, so ive tried to watch out for him when i watch bilbao games on tv... hes a strong taclker, reminds me a bit of a left sided josemi when he used to play good (like first 2 games his first season)

if i could bring one player i would bring quaresma... we dont have that many players that can dribble past others with skill and speed

both of them had good games today too... haha

i think we should just not rest reina, carra, agger (when fit), gerrard, and torres we need to keep the best we got on the pitch, or at least the spine of the team... a few tweeks can be done but these players must play all the games if their not injured or really tired (obviously later in the season)

i would like to see if one of our many new young cb can make the step up

Most players we have been linked with are 25 or younger, I think we need a couple of 28-29 year olds with experience and a bit of malice. Not saying we have to sign these players, but players like Deco, Diego Milito, Henry, Cannavaro, Emerson, Seedorf who have played in various leagues and have that je nai sais quoi that makes them winners.

I think we need Tevez, he would really set us apart... Name one player in out team that would get another team nervous when hes on the ball like Ronaldo, Henry, Rooney, Robben, do...

Great to see us loaning players to premiership clubs, hope he gets his fairshare of games... But I guess we have too many CMs for him to ever make it here.

giggs is one of manure's players i dont really hate.
