  1. I'm praying that Marca were on the money with their latest front page.
  2. We havent discussed it further, my interpretation is that it's not something we are wanting to discuss.
  3. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-transfers-pep-reina-only-2076285
  4. What you asking?
  5. Then again, Brendan also once said he'd be a nutter to let Andy Carroll go out on loan, too
  6. Brendan says Pepe isnt going on loan. It's an outright sale or nothing. Napoli asked about a loan but we dismissed it.
  7. You think Pepe put in a transfer request?
  8. Does Brendan rate Pepe higher than Brad Jones? If so, why isnt he keeping Pepe as his number 2 and offloading Jones? Ergo, it's about money.
  9. Dont be silly, course we didnt. That was £15m.
  10. What about Julio Cesar? I thought that Napoli were on the brink of completing a deal to take him?
  11. Covered his backside well there, with the 'but there are few clubs bigger than Liverpool' bit I wouldnt begrudge Pepe a move to someone like Barcelona, i'd miss him and want him to stay but there'd be no ill feeling if he went.
  12. Well, to be honest, if he was being pushed because he's not good enough by the manager, then fair enough. But he seems to be being pushed because of his wages. It's football, not Monopoly.
  13. His career record shows one goal scored, so either he took one penalty, or he took a couple and isnt very good at them
  14. Let's send Ayre to Madrid to sell Suarez
  15. It was obviously relatively speaking. Playing for a sh*te side, obviously you'll make more saves and probably look more impressive on MOTD. But aside from the concentration factor, which is the main difficulty, playing in goal for a side that dominates possession to that extent, is a piece of p*ss. Relatively speaking - remember that, eh?
  16. Yeah, tough as f**k when the opposition never has the ball.
  17. Aside from that, keeping nets for Barcelona cant be that fecking hard, they have the ball for 85% of most games.

  19. But but but....it came from Abrahams' 'top source in Spain'
  20. Pepe met with Arsene Wenger yesterday in Spain, according to TalkSport's 'The Moose' (Ian Abrahams).
  21. Fair play, i hadnt seen the quotes with 'I dont think so' included on them.
  22. I could be wrong, but the lad you want is Señor Rosell. Laporta stopped being Barca president nearly 3 years ago
  23. Has he? I thought he said it'd be 'difficult' but didnt rule it out.
