It was a very long and costly 12 weeks though. If he'd been sacked in November and Kenny came in, would we have maybe beaten Wigan and Stoke away under Kenny? Would we have gone to Newcastle and won? Would we have beaten Wolves at home and Blackburn away? If so, we would now be on 46 points and in the title race, let alone challenging for top 4. Would that have still made Torres want to go? All ifs and buts, and i'm not for one minute saying it's as simple as that, of course it isnt. But i do think the 12 week period has been costly, in more ways than one.
