most goals were scored playing through the middle as a second striker... playing for the right was a disaster and wasting his talents.. He still scored more goals playing as a leftwinger than as a rightwinger in his first 6 months if you managed to catch games in his debut season..

well.. Smicer must be the player who has had more stick than anyone else in the recent past.. I remember being in the Kop and this guy behind me booed Smicer against coventry( Kirkland was awesome in that game for the sky blues) even though we were like 3-4 up at the time

well for someone from the championship to play for the European Champions is a success

do you think he was even better than Shanks.. personally Shanks edges it for me in term of importance but if success is the barometer there is not a better club manager in the history of the game
