intense enigma

Lets hope we get them in the FA Cup somewhere down the road preferably in the final and kick the s*** out of them and leave them trophyless this season.

Prior to the match, I felt only we could lose 2nd place and althoug we lost, i still feel the same. Win the games in hand and bang! we're in second. There's nothing Fergie or fat @rse or horseface or the Glazers could do about it. Cheer up guys

Well, if it's not meant to be it's not meant to be. From the little that i've seen, he seems very talented and has the world at his feet. Good luck to him and hope he becomes the great player his talents deserve. We obviously dont know the details behind his move to Arsenal but whatever the circumstances, I've always been of the opinion that if a player turns us down, its his loss not the club's. And I wont feel much grief if he well and truly turns out to be a world beater because some of the greatest players in world football have played against us throughout the 70s and 80s and even as recent as last season and still coudn't stop us from being rampant on the domestic and the European scene. If Walcott turns out to be another Henry, well and good, but we have stopped Henry from playing before so I'm confident that once we become the dominant force again, whoever they may be, they have to first find a way to withstand the red tide before even thinking about what they could get out of the match. Just my two cents worth.

Is that the same Connolly that Mellor played with when on loan to West Ham? If it is, I hope Mellor confines him to the bench for the rest of his Wigan career

I remember Barnes taking the p!ss out of Paul Ince leading up to one of our goals

Linky It is thought the boyhood Arsenal fan would prefer a move to the Gunners, but Chelsea have reportedly vowed to top any other offer Walcott receives in their efforts to tempt him to Stamford Bridge. WTF? At least they could've done their home work first before putting up a story

Personally, neither. But, I would rather have a striker that Rafa feels is right for the team and someone, in Rafa's words, wants to play for Liverpool.

He said he had a big smile on his face during half time of the CL final than it all turned sour for the fatty. I hope he plays so that we can wipe that smile off for good.

WOW!.....what a player. The Henry comparisons are not far off in my opinion.

You all presume wrong. I believe the ANC will be an excuse not to play in the injury

True. The brazilians hardly got out of their own half during that time. Bloody Kallon needs to start shooting straight though. The one that went towards the corner flag as he was bearing down on goal was f***ing hilarious

It seems that Al Ittihad is starting to get the measure of Sao Paolo. Interesting game. End to end stuff in the last 15 minutes before half time.
