Disagree with the bit in bold. For me if we were passing and moving quicker it would allowed Kewell to shine a lot more. Slow movement was our problem yesterday, we never got it going properly and for that we have to give MU credit. Or not if you don't want to.

Good post. Gerrard has been excellant as a CM lately. Against the strong teams though we need him in his free role on the right so he can create panic and confusion, effectively putting the opposition defense on the back foot. Against weaker teams he can play CM ahead of one DM and we can add a Benayoun/Pennant on the right to add to the attack. IMO

My theory on this is as follows Against the big 4 at home or away and against other strong teams away he plays RM with Masher and Alonso central. All other games Stevie plays CM in front of either Alonso or Masher. At home preferably ahead of Alonso.

Well without any other info that is the only way to report it. It is only the rumours on the net that have brought the concept of another design on board. As strong as those rumours appear to be i doubt the echo is going to go with them. Having said that I do not think we will see the "super" stadium.

The thread title should read "The Systems Liverpool play". That is where Rafa is taking us. Being able to play different styles on call, from each game and within each game. Rafa is an innovative Manager always looking deeper into the team, squad, opposition and himself. Occassionally he f***s up but he does change his team a lot so he is always available for criticism. He does have a winning ratio that is comparable to any LFC manager (only behind Kenny, I think). In otherwords it is easier to criticise a manager who experiments compared to a traditional (for want of a better word) manager. I think it is amazing how well he disects sides in Europe, particularly Chelsea x2, Juventes, Barca.

Possibly. Personally Kewell needs to play these 2 games more than Reading, he can't play 3 games in a week. Babel perhaps shuld of started? Personally think this is all wah de wah! Besides Torres, who, that was fully fit, could of started that game and improved the side? Once you have worked that out explain to me why Torres didn't win the game in the last 30 minutes.
