Babel was captain of the Dutch U-21's ans was voted player of the tournament in the European U-21's which his Dutch team won and pissed all over everybody else. He's also an experienced Dutch full international at a very young age. I's say he was the very definition of a young player who was shaping up to be a superstar.

YOU compared Benitez's winning the CL with Houllier's "scraping 4th" with basically the same group of players as proof of His superiority as a manager, while trying to be snide about GH at the same time, I only pointed out that Rafa actually finished in a lower league position with those players than GH did so what was your comparison meant to prove. Your comments on the players left are totally irrelevant as is reminding us that Houllier finished 7th in his 1st season without listing the players he did that with for a comparison. You brought up the league position you whopper no-one else. And if it's relevant for you to use as an imaginary stick to beat Houllier with, why does it become irrelevant as any kind of measure against Rafa? :kissass:

And Rafa scraped 5th with the same players didn't he so what's your point? Why can't it just be that Rafa did well to win the CL when he did? Why does it have to be "Rafa raised the dead, walked on water and then his biggest miracle was to win the CL with Riise and Smicer"?

Christ I hope not. Carra is a great defender but offers very little else constructively - yeah I know you all want your defenders to defend - he's very short of pace, a poor passer and isn't great in the air. I'd like to think that in the next 12 months or so we've moved forward to a Skrtel/Agger partnership with Carra palying a Sami role of playing to rest the other two and getting involved in the coaching.

Well we were clear at the top when Agger was playing so how does that pan out for you? Its extremely annoying for most sensible people when you don't ever offer an arguement just repeat "Rafa knows best" until we all pass out from boredom. Are you and MFletcher related at all?

With Agger in the side we were winning games and top of the league, we let in fewer goals with Agger in the side than we have since Skrtel's return, so what is the problem with Aggers performances on the pitch to justify dropping him? What is obvious is that Rafa prefers Carra and Skrtel, his choice and he should stand or fall by it but to constantly harp on about Rafa always being right is pathetic and childish. Has he never, ever made a wrong decision since you started supporting Liverpool?

Steve Nicol and Phil Neal are scandalously low in the list, Rush outside the top 10 and Carra at 9 are both laughable. Carra wouldn't get near a Liverpool side with Hansen, Lawrensen, Hughes, Smith or Thompson to choose from at CB.

I'd play Agger most games and then pick his partner/partners to suit. As for this new internet legend "Agger can't play against rough boys", he's not been found wanting against anyone for a few years now and was all over Drogba at Anfield in the CL - and he scored as well! He's suffering from his almost full season out injured but I'm pretty sure we've let in less goals when he's played than when Skrtel's played, and as soon as Skrtel's fit again he's back in. I can see why Agger's a bit miffed to be fair.

Took my lad to Old Trafford for the 1-1 when Berger scored his freekick. Sat level with the edge of the 18 yard line at the end he smashed it in to put us 1-0 up. Horrendous experience, said then that I'd rather not go than do it again and it's true.

Jagielka and Lescott, both from the lower divisions and both for f*** all, Arteta, Cahill, Yobo, Howard and he's bringing a fair few good youngsters through as well. Personally I can't stand the t*** but he's doing a great job for Everton.
