Bloody hell, I just read the article and was thinking the same thing. I don't know anything new about Rushie, but I know all about Tomkins ideas on how to approach a one on one with the keeper. YIPPEE!

Who gives a feck what other fans think? And yeah he's a bit stubborn. He doesn't need any input at all. He's a bloody genius. Does he make mistakes? Of course. Does he choose teams we wouldn't? Of course. But then again, we don't see the training sessions all week either do we? It makes me bloody laugh sometimes. It's like this lady I was placing an ad with to show off our restaurant the other week - she wanted to design the whole thing. Bear in mind, she doesn't have any design experience, she's just an ad saleswoman. For her to think that SHE had a better idea of how we want to market our restaurant and what our vision is than WE do was ridiculous...yet week in and week out, mechanics, plumbers, bankers, lawyers are all second guessing a man at the top of his profession. It's quite boring.

Eboue. Flamini. (although by God he's come good this season) Phil Neville. Darren Fletcher. John O'Shea. Wes Brown. Wayne Bridge. Mateja Kezman. And these are just off the top of my head. I doubt Carra would be as good if he were playing for someone else either.

This is a bag of excrement too. He STARTED getting money to build a squad this year, sure. Torres took a huge slice of that...it's not like the owners said "Right, we're gonna give you 300 million quid over the next 5 years, here it all is now spend it as you wish." If you want to use our new found money as a yardstick to measure Rafa by then it should be in 3 years, not right now.

Ah b******s, we've lost the spine of our team. How many of you would choose Sami over Agger, Momo over Alonso, and Voronin over Torres if everyone was fit? Nobody. It's not the only reason we're not playing well right now, but it's part of it.

The loose pass was from Riise, and Carra was absolutely spot on giving him an earful. If you're gonna pass the ball backwards, at least do it bloody accurately. He was wrong to have a go at Masch, but I reckon he's man enough to find him after the game and admit that. I for one am bloody thrilled that we have someone who's got the passion to give half the team the kick up the a*** they need right now, cause no-one else seems to be doing it. Is he playing particularly well? He's playing about the same as he always has to me. He's always been lacking a certain amount of technical skill, but he's always made up for it by WANTING to get to the ball a bit faster than everyone else. He's still got that...people forget he came back from a cracked rib in record time and has been playing non-stop ever since. If Agger was fit we'd have seen games where Carra was rested. Give the lad a break.
