depends how you look at it. Rafa knows these players.. and would probably get the best out of them short term. He got a brilliant season from Alonso after falling out with him so... Because theie bid didnt meet the reequirements the board set. You can look at it as pulling out, but it's more likely they were evaluated and didnt meet certain criteria.
