I really hope these young lads start to get a few chances, none have been given a sniff this season after the likes of Flanagan, Shelvey and Robbo did last season, different scenarios I guess when going all our for the champs league this season but they really do need games in the 1st team to develop. I hope this young Portugese lad gets a few sub appearances before the end of the season if he is as good as he looked in those Next Gen games and Sterling too.

Exactly the same thing as Nasri. Arshavin looked a world beater when player up top just behind the striker, Arsenal buy him and then play him inverted on the left. Nasri looked brilliant last year playing central, City buy him and play him much wider. Both look poor in comparison. If Arsenal had of played Arshavin where he played for Russia in the Euro's when he ripped it up it would have been a different story, he more central against Swansea and set up van Persie, its not rocket science either. We've been guily of playing players in square holes too, honestly dont know why managers do it after they buy a player who is excelling in a particular position. The one signing we should be making is Alan Carr's Dad. He is having a stormer.

To be fair to them I would be and anyone on this earth would swap the Andy for all their signings there have signed for the equivalent costs, which include Cabaye, Ba, Cisse, Tiote, Ben Arfra, Collocini, Krul. Well done to them, it's almost as if our Damien is actually working for them.

I'd agree wth every single thing you said there, including the part about Villa's form. His performances this season were pretty poor by his standards before the injury. I think Alexis is a brilliant buy, he is a better player than Pedro and I think will prove so when he gets a run without injuries and he suits playing that wide forward role perfectly. Cesc does seem to have upset the formation, even though he personally has been superb, think there has been too much tinkering and Pep should probably have stuck with the winning 4-3-3 formula, playing Cesc where either Xaxi or Iniesta play in rotation rather than playing all of them and upsetting the system of last season.

IF they win the league this season does it still mean this Barca side are the best ever? Downing, hmmmmmm, I dont know what to say.

This is exactly what it should be, not sure what the point is in having a British core if that core isnt good enough to into the top four places in the league.
