Like the bit with Rushie having the milk muzzie. Lovely little reference

Monday, I thought
-
Everything is about us at this point I'm afraid

Everyone is focussed on the Geordie tears, but - if we do get Isak - we shouldn't overlook the arsenal tears, after they were carrying on last season as if Isak was spiritually theirs
-
Heart says I should keep working at a song to the tune of "call me baby". Head says it should just be the Houllier 'allez allez' chant. Also another nod to the excellent thread title
-
I keep thinking about his spot in the changing room. Will they leave it empty, or will that upset people who were otherwise getting by when they see it empty. Imagine being the first person to take it. What would the existing players think?
-
From what I saw, the fume was that he met with an Instagram influencer and was partying instead of going to the funeral. But then I've also seen that the photographs of that are from ages ago. So f*** knows
-
I found myself plotting a full scenario about him faking it and the outcry that there'd be when it came out
-
I'm sure I remember people chanting to Cardiff fans about the Sala tragedy, but even that is one or two steps removed from this. Overall opposition fans have been very good on Twitter from what I've seen

How old is his eldest? 4 or 5 isn't it? I don't think any of them will remember him which might well be the worst part of it all. Someone earlier (can't remember who, sorry) mentioned the fear of mortality y suddenly get when you have kids and I remember when I had mine that was always on my mind for years, that if I died now they'd have no memories of me. It's just another later of horror in this whole event.

I was talking to a mate earlier about the official LFC videos when the new FIFA game would come out and he'd go around all the players with their ratings from the game. It was so clear how much everyone absolutely loved him, and when the next game is released it's gonna be another date that would ordinarily not register but that will hurt so much now

That has done me. You do sometimes forget that these are real people, then the tributes make you see them in a new light almost and this really hammers it home
-
I managed today well, then I got home and my eldest (whose not interested in football) asked if I'd heard. I told him that his brother had too and I don't know if it was saying those words to him, a brother himself of my other son, or just a build up of the day but I just went. All the while thinking it was daft over a footballer Just been through this twitter account, reading all the tributes from everyone - absolutely everyone in football - and I've gone again
-
Was it against Chelsea when he just ran and didn't seem to do anything special but no one could take the ball off him. Amazing fella
-
The first non-Liverpool kit I got my lad was a Portugal top with Diogo J on the back. We were on holiday in Portugal and people would be impressed/surprised every time they saw the back and it wasn't Ronaldo. I still can't believe this
-
f***ing hell I hope this is wrong. Awful
-
Also had the header that was saved for Mellor to put in the rebound for the second v Olympiakos
-
It would also be fairly stupid if it was literally, tbf. Something about paying that much for Isak doesn't sit right for me. I'd rather a younger and cheaper striker plus Wharton. I do worry, though, that what doesn't sit right is I'll get annoyed at all the football banter twitter accounts willfully misrepresenting previous comments about buying players made by us and our fans, and I get that's a me problem
-
Always has been with them, hasn't it? I'm sure Bebe changed agency just before signing for them. Amongst other incredibly murky things about that transfer
-
We made it to mossley hill and were contemplating going in to town or not but didn't bother, so then it's ridiculous cos what are the odds, but your mind starts wandering about what if... And that's from us being nowhere near, I can't imagine what it's like for people a lot closer, like @Ant
-
I was thinking almost exactly this. It was such a great day, memories made with my lad that will last forever and, whilst it's not the most important thing, it's completely changed the outlook of the whole day.
-
My train is not stopping at Mossley Hill now cos there's too many people on it, so looks like I'm going to Lime Street anyway. I've essentially been kidnapped.
-
Just got on the train at Manchester. There are a ridiculous amount of people on here going the parade. There's even more queuing for an overflow bus to Lime Street (I'm on the slow, local train)
