    So, on the assumption that none of us drop points, we play our game in hand v arsenal next week and we'll be 3pts behind. Then there's FA Cup weekend followed by international weekend. Then the next league games, we're at 12:30 on Saturday, so could be top by the time they play irrespective of what they do.

    Yep. I checked the stats before and I know all the arguments about xG etc but it's still informative that we won that 1.65 to 0.32, and shots by 12-6 ("big chances" by 3-0 also)

    If we're gonna have one of them days it's always better to do it when we've a 2 goal head start We weren't great, but we were centimetres away from scoring 4 goals which would have us analysing the game differently

    If it's 0-0 then that handball is given. VAR is still the same old s***e referees using context and narrative. Nothing will be said about last night because it didn't ultimately matter, just like nothing would have been said from Saturday if City were 4-0 up

    Last game before everything was postponed for Covid. If we'd been on on the Wednesday instead of the Tuesday then by the time the game would've gone ahead then Ali would've been back and we'd have number 7 in our back pockets now
