  1. I think Kewell deserves some love. We can start a campaign to move Babel to striker Xabi Alonso Lucas and Kewell Gerrard and Mascheranooo
  2. As I said in the Sissoko thread, Xabi Alonso Lucas and Babel Gerrard and Mascheranooo But if you want Babel to play striker, Xabi Alonso Lucas and Kewell Gerrard and Mascheranooo
  3. We need a team of Pakos!
  4. Momo Sissoko is 5 syllables. Lucas Leiva is 4. Xabi Alonso Lucas and Babel Gerrard and Mascheranooooooooo-oooo!
  5. Kuyt and Voronin don't play midfield
  6. I was thinking about this yesterday. Replace 'Momo Sissoko' with 'Lucas and Babel'. It sounds the best.
  7. To be a big club, you need to act like a big club. If Parry and Moores can't even communicate with a company regarding a multi-million pound takeover, WTF can they do?! Honestly, I'm getting tired of everybody who deals with them saying how they continually give them the run around. If you were considering G+H's bid inform the other party. This isn't high school anymore where you have to be scared and intimidated and you hear things from another friend. This is business, this is LFC, it's not a f*ckin joke. Parry and Moores, not only did you sell to the wrong people, but for some reason you ALWAYS appear inept. Enough with this incompetence. FFS we're lucky that DIC is even back in the picture or we'd be f*cked royally. I hope we get Parry and Moore's resignations after all of this. F*CK OFF.
  8. Villa and Aimar... sell Crouch, Kuyt, Voronin and Pennant. Benayoun has made that position his own. Whenever he needs a rest, we could play Babel or Gerrard on the right of a 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2 with two of Lucas, Mascherano and Alonso in center midfield. Lucas has really impressed me with his play. Although he hasn't played much, I don't think he's had a poor showing so far has he?
  9. Where did this come from?! This is the first I'm hearing about it.
  10. You don't say. Huyton_Red has crawled under a rock.
  11. Finnan has been Mr. Consistent but he's not getting any younger. Plus you can't deny that he's been playing like sh*te this season. Considering his age, we should be looking at other options. Purchasing a top class left or right fullback and playing Arbeloa on the opposite flank is essential.
  12. And supposedly I don't know what I'm talking about.
  13. I know that I've seen reports that this mysterious 17M figure includes some portion of wages (first year was it?). I never implied that it was the full 5 year wage amount. I stated that the transfer fee (whatever it is) is supposed to be paid in 5 installments.
  14. Thank you.
  15. I know I've seen reports that have said Mascherano's fee will be averaged over 5 years (paid in installments). This 17M figure is as much of an 'educated' guess as all the other discussion re Mascherano. Whether or not it includes wages isn't the point - the point is that you can't use that as an argument to back the owners when a) the fee isn't certain and b) it hasn't even happened yet.
  16. You think the Telegraph is the ultimate source to quote for Mascherano's supposed buy-out clause? What's your reasoning for that? Regarding a new contract for Benitez, I guess you're alone on that one chap. If you were a true Liverpool fan, you would know that that isn't how we do things re Klinsmann. Hicks can talk out of his a*** as much as he wants, but the players need some assurances about their manager. Giving Benitez a new contract after Hicks having stirred all this sh*t himself would be a good gesture don't you think?
  17. I'm getting tired of you cluttering the boards with your nonsense. First of all, the Mascherano deal is not 17M. That is the total package INCLUDING wages and AVERAGED OVER THE NEXT 5 YEARS. Enough of adding 17M to your net spend in the last 7 months to get a bonehead figure of 70M. If you have been following you would know this. It's been discussed non-stop since last January. Second: 1) We are not asking to give Rafa a new contract because his results on the pitch deserve it. We are asking for it so that the owners fess up and apologize for talking to Klinsmann behind our manager's back. If you believe that that is the way Liverpool do business, you can support Everton. That is not how Liverpool behaves, even if the manager is under-performing. Read it again and understand it. WHETHER OR NOT RAFA IS UNDER-PERFORMING AND US AS FANS ARE QUESTIONING HIM, AT NO POINT IS MANAGEMENT ALLOWED AT LIVERPOOL TO TALK TO A POTENTIAL REPLACEMENT WHILE RAFA IS STILL IN CHARGE. 2) Read above, your 70M figure is b*llocks. 3) The new owners did deliver the stadium plans, correct. However, how much lobbying have we done since November to show our displeasure? The "60,000 parry bowl" was announced, why was it not accepted? The same fans that you are whining about about not backing our owners are the same fans that have delivered this precious stadium by not accepting one that is SECOND RATE. 4) Again, the original plan by Hicks and Gillette was not to do what they have done. Again, HAD WE as supporters not VOICED OUR DISPLEASURE at this, the DEBT AT THE MOMENT WOULD BE LADEN ON THE CLUB. Again, it is the same fans you are whining about that have created enough of an up-roar and Moores and Parry have disagreed with G&H's approach that we have the current situation. The fact that the owners are doing something now doesn't mean they haven't deserved the sh*t they've received in the last month or so. Enough with your b*lls***. I unfortunately have to go through all your pages of garbage because of my time difference. Shutup now.
  18. Looks like we'll have to change the song now but can't see us NOT signing mascherano now.
  19. I guess Parry sold out.
  20. So with the splitting of the debt and giving G&H a fat pay day, what numbers are we talking about in reality? (not twisting the numbers by any means so that both save face?) What is the true worth of the bid that would allow DIC to take over?

I think that's the one thing we can guarantee. Anyone is better than Carra on the ball. He's dreadful at it.
  22. Well I don't know what you and your mate were doing but you definitely haven't been watching Aurelio play for any long stretch. Everyone here will vouch for that.
  23. Dude do you ever say anything that makes sense? That just wasted 10 seconds of my life.
  24. Ginu

    Skretl

    Yes. That's the point.
  25. Kuyt's was a clear chance if there has ever been one. The fact he f*cked up his first touch ruined it. It was definitely a FULL chance.
