  1. That's the point, they are good enough. Got the right character for English football as well. Added bonus of bringing in a lot of cash.
  2. To be honest more premiership clubs should look at Asian players. Honda, Chong-Yong, Park Ji-Sung and Kagawa have proven to be good buys in Europe plus they're a lot cheaper than players in South America and Europe. If Liverpool were to buy an Asian player, I think they would end up having the biggest merchandise potential out there. Whenever I went to see a match in Seoul the most popular shirts were Liverpool with Torres on the back and Man Utd with Park Ji Sung. I'd even say Torres shirts probably outnumbered Park- Ji Sung shirts.
  3. Ramos was highly rated at the time though, his Seville team was great to watch and won the Uefa cup. I think the problem he had at spurs was that he tried to change things too much within a short space of time. If he's looking to bring in a manager who is as highly rated as Ramos was at that time, it'll do for me.
  4. yes you may be the first. fantastic in soup! I would obviously be very sad losing a manager who has thrity-five years experience. But if a club like Newcastle were to come in for him, it would be wrong as a Liverpool fan to begrudge him the chance to manage them.
  5. Newcastle should show that they're a big club and do all they can to get Hodgson as manager.
  6. Come on be serious! It's more likely to Jonjo, Suso, Pacheco + 5.5m for Hayden Mullins.
  7. I think Hiddink would be perfect if we could convince to come here. Turkey haven't started that well in the Euro qualifiers so I don't htink it would be out of the question...

  18. He is comfortable on the ball, not as good a playmaker as Alonso, but not that bad either. He was touted as being the direct replacement for Totti early on in his career. I think Benitez will get the best out of him and he will score goals.
  19. Roma have had quite a few injuries over past few seasons, Totti, Perrotta, Vucinic, Pizzaro and Juan have all had time on the sidelines. To be honest it's pretty similar to Newcastle's injury list. With the exception of Torres last year, Liverpool don't seem to pick up the injuries that Roma do, so hopefully the change will do him good. But then again we did buy Aurellio and Degen, who both haven't had the best of luck with injuries.
  20. To be honest I probably get to see more Roma games then Liverpool ones. Roma's team goes with 3 central midfielders and they generally play through De Rossi, Totti and Pizzaro. I think he's going to be given a lot more responsibility at Liverpool and playing alongside Macherano will free him up to be a lot more attacking.
  21. Absolutely. He never gets injured.
  22. Or the fact I'm also a Roma fan as well as a Liverpool fan...
  23. He'll be further back, but he's definitely more attacking minded then Alonso is and I expect to see grabbing quite a few goals if he stays fit.
  24. IF Aquilani can stay fit, there's no doubt he can get a lot of goals from midfield. I could see him having the sort of impact that Lampard does for Chelsea.
