    if Alonso stays, i think he'll definitely be out to prove a point. i'm not so sure about the on-going Barry saga but the alleged 17.5m + Finnan is well OTT, imo. then again, the details (straight cash, installments, &/or other variables) of the transfer might make it more reasonable.

    agreed... everyone keeps leaving Carra out of their formations & putting in Degen (the physio's new pet) instead... i find it a little (maybe to compensate for the lack of pure width?)

    agreed. Rafa's going w/ English players already familiar with & adapted to the premier league i.e. Barry, Milner... both of whom would be good signings, imo - esp for any domestic success in the near future.
