Were Inter hanging on at the end after leading 4-0 against 10 men or not?

I voted No - Yes we need to get rid of Roy but Rafa's gone and it's time to move on. Last nights game summed up Rafa for me - Superb first half with some great football - 2nd half inter sat-back instead of going for it and putting 6 or 7 past spurs, because of this they nearly ended up drawing the game and were holding on for the last 10 minutes after leading 4-0. Rafa still doesn't send out his teams with that killer instinct, once he's got a good lead he still sit's on it and it cost us at times and nearly cost him again last night

Johnson has been one of our worst players all season and at £17M he is not worth anywhere near that. He looks like he's lost about 2 yards of pace and put on about 2 stone!

I know what you mean.... I've never given a manager only a few games as well.... He's probably the only manager in football history who hasn't given the team a lift when taking over (even a couple of game lift), he's made us 10x worse!!

Please get this manager (if you can call him that) out of our club! His tactics and defensive philosophy against Blackpool, Sunderland, Northampton etc... at home are a joke!

That's the one part of the summer activity I really can't understand! If we'd have sold him for £15M and actually bought a striker it would have made sense,but to let him go on loan! He played well towards the end of last season and was a creative midfielder, but I suppose that was the problem for Roy - he might not have tracked back all the time and actually went over the halfway line!

Poulsen today was worse than lucas and I never thought I'd say that! At least lucas had 3 or 4 passes and runs forward all poulsen done was pass the ball sidewards or mostly backwards and apart from near the end didn't move over the halfway line!

Have to agree at least Jova ran at their defence and tried something when he got the ball unlike most of the team who either passed it backwards, hoofed it or give it someone else to do something with it!

Well that was shocking 46 minutes and the start of the 2nd half before foster had to make a save. I didn't think I'd see a more negative midfielder than lucas but hodgson has managed to find him...... poulsen and then he plays him alongside lucas! It must be one of the most 1 dimensional negative central midfield partnerships in the prem! I actually think that was more negative than last season and I wanted Rafa to go! Hodgson was obviously happy with the poor performance because he left babel and pacheco on the bench yet left maxi and poulsen (who both offered nothing) on the pitch! For the first time in years I am absolutely dreading going to old trafford because with this team and tactics I;ve got a feeling it will be an embarrassing scoreline! Meireles looked good but I don't know if it was because he was the only player who actually RAN and WENT FORWARD or because he looked good!

Not only the world cup he's looked good for PSV as well. Well let's put it this way, even based on his world cup I bet a few people thought "he's a good player, let's sign him" how many people have ever said that about konchesky and for double the money!

couldn't agree more! roughly same age but apparently we are paying more than double for konchesky compared to what fulham have paid for salcido!! unbelievable!

From what I've seen of Dalla Valle he's a good player and it's weird that Roy tried to sign him at fulham but now he doesn't want him Salcido had a great world cup and if we spend more on Konchesky then Fulham did on Salcido I really do give up!

Sion has said in numerous arguments it's the reason we finsihed 7th because of lack of net-spend which if u look at the title is the whole point of this discussion.
