So why hasn't Torres price gone up by £20m because it's the January Transfer Window? as I've said above if Carroll is worth £35m torres is worth £135m

It's true though! I can't believe who ever is in charge of us buying players (Comolli, Kenny, The Tea Lady) are willing to pay £35m + addons for Carroll and sell Torres for £50m! Torres only worth £15m more than Carroll = b******s!

This really is mental! £35m + add ons for Carroll - If Woy had paid this we would all be up in arms! If Carroll is worth £35m then Torres is worth £135m!!

And if I'd have said at the beginning of the season - In January Woy was going to sell Torres and Babel and get Suarez and Carroll as replacements but also pay £1.6m we'd have all gone mental!

£35m is mental for Carroll even giving the increase for january and English players! £10m - £15m MAX! so are we saying that he's worth only £15m less than torres after doing it for 1/2 a season in the Prem! I really can't believe we are going to pay this for him and sell Torres for £50m! There are plenty of strikers you could get for £35m who have a much better track record than Carroll. Sky reporting fee agreed of £35m + more for add-ons! Have Kenny and Comolli lost the plot? This is ridiculous for an un-proven player!

£30m for Rossi???? We should be asking for £150m for torres then not £50m!!! Has the football world gone mad?

Luis Suarez is expected to complete his transfer from Ajax to Liverpool on Monday after successfully passing a medical this weekend. What was the hold-up with VDV then? Or do you just have to prove that you had all the paperwork completed by the deadline?

Does the player have to be signed, sealed and delivered (inc medical) before 11pm tomorrow? Wasn't VDV for Spurs in the summer not officially announced until the following day?

Why would you offer what the Contract Clause is straight away when you might be able to get him cheaper? especially when you know that you can leave it a few hours before the deadline, offer the contract clause and get the player anyway! especially if you've been talking to the players agent and have basically agreed the wages etc... in advance and all you have to carry out is the medical

I think Holloway is class...... His statement the other day regarding Adams and how much he should go for? "How much is it worth to Blackpool to stay in the Premier League - £46 Million.... well that's how much Adams is worth then - £46 Million" At the end of the day he is looking after his clubs best interests and as if the thinks Adams could be the difference in Blackpool staying in the league or going down then why would he sell him for £4 Million when they would loose a lot more than that if they went down. I honestly think if we offer a decent amount then holloway would sell him to us above any other club......just look at his comments prior to the game the other day for the respect he holds the club and especially Kenny in.

Great game by Raul today! as some have said I'd play lucas as the defensive midfielder (another great game from lucas today he's winning me over this season) with gerrard and Raul slightly ahead of him (i.e. today's line up with gerrard instead of poulsen) at the end of the day gerrard isn't exactly sloppy at getting back and defending. The other changes I'd have made from today would be the Greek for Skrtel (until Carra is fit), Auerllio LB and let Kelly and Johnson fight it out over RB (or move Johnson RM) and Joe Cole for either Maxi or Kuyt not bothered which one but I think cole should replace one of them!

Have to say I agreed with a lot of what Redknapp said today as well (first time for everything) about Kenny and the team, style of play etc.... especially when he said "the players finally look like they are enjoying playing again... at times it looks like the players have been over-coached with over-complicated tactics. Kenny will be telling them the Liverpool way.. Pass and move it's a simple game really"

I'm eating my words good performance today especially Lucas, Raul and Torres even poulsen didn't have a bad game first half. The strike by Raul was class but the 3rd goal was an absolute joy to watch and if it was Arsenal who had scored it after 30+ passes in a row and quick passing and movement as well they would have been going on about it for years!
