You're a t***.

....

Disagree with that. Just because someone spent time and money into doesn't mean you can't criticise it. My own personal views? I didn't like the original pictures as posted on RAWK - but I did appreciate the effort. Having then seen the banner unfurled against Benfica, I liked it a bit more - still not too much though. However, I do still appreciate the time, money and effort whoever put into it.

Wouldn't like to see Milan win it - they'll go 2 up on us again. I'd like to see them get far though, I like them. Don't want to see Arsenal win it either, although wouldn't be too disappointed. Lyon, Barca, Benfica in that order is right. Feeling Juve might sneak it.

Smicer knew he was off.

I still feel depressed.

I for one wouldn't welcome the return of the 2nd group stage. It's pointless and boring. One of the main reasons the European Cup is my favourite trophy is BECAUSE anything can happen.

Likewise. I'm more depressed than fed up. I've had a horrible year in the States so far and Liverpool's European run was supposed to be my silver lining

Precisely. If a team can't score A GOAL in 180 minutes of football, they don't deserve to go through - we didn't, and we don't deserve to go through. I think what hurt us the most was Crouch's horrendous miss personally.

I said it in here a while earlier in a thread, NOT to underestimate Benfica regardless of their apparently poor league form - when some people were saying 'We'll hammer this lot - they're s****'. I realised that at this stage of European competition, there ARE NO s*** TEAMS left and this is EXACTLY the sort of stuff fans of opposing teams last year were saying about us - and it helped us in that the opposition felt they would win comfortably by not putting in 100%.

To reach the moon, you must aim for the stars.

Lyon. Don't want to see another English team win it - so the a*** can go f*** themselves. Apart from Lyon, Barca probably. I would like to say Milan because I love their football but then they'd be at 7 and we'd be at 5 so I wouldn't like Milan to win it - perhaps reach the final again though. To be fair, wouldn't mind seeing Benfica win it either - good manager Koeman and we can say we were knocked out by the European Champions. Also, Benfica winning it will put htem on 3 - 1 ahead of the Mancs.

And Koeman's a very good manager.

Benfica are decent.
