    I didn’t think he had gone up his own a*** tbf. Just that besides the commercial level of it being beyond what most of our players ever did, being in a Spanish speaking country and nobody in UK knowing about it, all smelled of Madrid.

    Klopp was always doing ads in Germany since his first success as a manager. Very different to TAA suddenly appearing in an ad with Miley Cyrus (lookalike) in a Spanish language billboard campaign amidst rumours he was going to Madrid. That’s before we even get to the Google bs.

    To be honest the first time I suspected he was likely to leave was seeing his reaction at the Klopp farewell. Was notably different to the other players. All of this will sound like hindsight of course but many if not most of us thought similar. What rankles is that certain things made me want to believe he was staying, the ear chat etc. Confirmation bias in action.
