  3. Damn, I missed it because of training. Is it repeated?
  4. Not sure why he gets so much abuse and derision as he's a good player. Not good enough or consistent enough for us though and just about past it. Nonetheless, his statistics alone are fairly impressive, and that doesn't take into account his ability to hold up the ball and bring others into the game around the box. 99-00 Celtic Glasgow 25 Goals, 28 Games + 1 Goals, 4 Games (UEFA Cup) 00-01 Leeds United 17 Goals, 34 Games + 4 Goals, 14 Games (Champions League) 01-02 Leeds United 11 Goals, 33 Games + 3 Goals, 7 Games (UEFA Cup) 02-03 Leeds United 20 Goals, 33 Games 03-04 Leeds United 11 Goals, 30 Games 04-05 Middlesbrough 5 Goals, 16 Games + 2 Goals, 4 Games (UEFA Cup) 05-06 Middlesbrough 7 Goals, 27 Games + 6 Goals, 9 Games (UEFA Cup)
  5. Don't know what you're all on about. Cahill's great!

  7. We need to keep Hamann, if only to bring him on in finals when we're behind.

  9. I completely disagree. I think that some players, no matter how good or skillful they are, require others to bring them into the game. Le Tallec is hardly a player that is going to impose himself on the game. He's the type of player that is only going to be as good as the players around him simply because he relies on them to bring him into the game. For example, if you're a striker, it doesn't matter how intelligent your runs are or how good you are at finishing, unless you are played the ball where you want it you won't score goals. Whilst that example is not really applicable to Le Tallec and his abilities, I don't think that you can say for certain that if you put a good player in a crap team that they will perform well.

    Anderson

Eh? It means if we sell him for 4 million we get 3 million and Hull gets 1 million (25%).
  11. Leeds vs Arsenal, just before he signed for us. Incredible goal that was. He has scored some belters in his time, but that was just amazing.
  12. He expects Bolton's goalkeeper to show on sunday exactly why the big clubs weren't sniffing around him? I hope you're right Charlie.
  13. Good post. I love him. He is a great player and a joy to watch. I have no problems with the way he celebrates either.
  14. At least you ask for permission like a good boy. Yes, you may laugh if you want. I certainly couldn't care less. I doubt any Liverpool supporters went onto a Man Utd website after Smith's injury and laughed on there about it though, like you are doing here with Sissoko's.
  15. Smith's injury was horrible and I hope he makes a quick recovery. Others are less sympathetic to him and some don't care, so what? Smith's injury did, however, occur in a match against us. What Sissoko and Cisse's injuries have to do with you I don't know. Quit trolling and trying to take the moral high ground where none exists.
  16. Some German friends told me that his name means "pig climber" Wonder how his ancestors got that name...

    Kewell

Which is even funnier when you consider that his parents are English immigrants to Australia and that Kewell himself has probably spent almost as much of his life in England as he has in Australia.

    Kewell

Eh? At least 3 of the Australian's posting in thread joined this forum before Harry signed for us... 2 other Aussies joined the forum around a year after Harry signed when he was going through a form/injury crisis. That hardly indicates a correlation between Harry joining Liverpool and an increase in Aussie fans.
  19. Eh? I don't understand your point. Are you suggesting that Garcia should take Kewell's place at left midfield with Kromkamp at right? Meaning you rate Kromkamp higher than both Kewell and Riise? Based on what? Or are you saying that Garcia should a permanent fixture at right midfield with Kromkamp as backup and we should instead be looking for a replacement for Kewell rather than trying to get in a new right mid? Either way it's ridiculous and you're posts in this thread are just thinly veiled attacks on Kewell (using one game as evidence...). (Of course I'm working under the assumption Gerrard at right midfield is a temporary solution)
  20. Exactly, they're both very different players who play in similar positions. I think depending on the opposition and how we play either player could be better.
  21. Don't care. They're both great and they're both ours.
  22. That is obviously the article from last season. Socceroos coach Frank Farina...? Why post this?
  23. I think playing 3 at the back against a team which features Joaquin as one of its wingers would be quite dangerous. Flat back 4 for this game please.
  24. Not too worried by it. Josemi always looks ok it Europe. Was only in the Premier League where he struggled.
