If we came second this year with a point tally of 101 and say Chelsea pipped us to the title on goal difference, there is absolutely no doubt that people like Mr. Biscan would be calling for tha manager's head, as he's shown that he can take us close but simply hasn't the courage/stomach/motivational skills to take us that last step. That's why this discussion is laughable. On the other hand there is no doubt either that Rafa has to take more responsibility for our abysmal results this season than the owners. Let's hope he'll pick it up soon enough.
