Maybe not but surely if you were a manager and you've watch your team on more than one occasions go into defensive mode once you've taken a lead; you'd drill it into them not to do it. Why isn't Benitez on the touchline telling them to push up? How many times have we seen the opposite from him, telling players to be compact? I like rafa but he is a cautious manager, hence why he likes two holding midfielders.

Looked bright when he came on, definitely worth a shout now and again.

It's not about playing like Denmark of the mid 80's, it's about intent. The team on the pitch today were good enough to go out and attack Blackburn with more gusto as shown in glimpses in our second half display - we weren't adventurous enough and that stems from the manager. Blackburn are a poor side.

A few wins and then back to back trashings of Real Madrid and Manchester United led to a massive confidence boost. In the five years that Rafa has been here do you think our style of football in that period is reflective of his tenure.

You could see from the first half there was no urgency on our part today - we seemed content to just plod along without any true conviction We eventually picked it up midway through the second but without ever dominating the match. Very disappointed in our approach to the game, barring Torres that was nearly our full team. yet we remained overly cautious.

Indeed - but the reality is, football is a business masquerading as a sport.

That's two games in a row Gerrard has been below par - definitely doesn't look fully fit. Everton are shocking, the fact that they caused us so many problems is disturbing. On another day it may have been a different result but any win in a derby game is always welcome.

Don't really like Mourinho either - his behaviour against Barca and his criticism of the ambulance service dealing with Cech's injury was disgusting. That aside, he is a very good manager and if we were looking to replace Rafa, he'd have to be considered.

Absolutley pointless bringing him on for a minute, he didn't even get a touch of the ball. Baffling, truly baffling.
