It doesn't make sense that he would do some kind of pre-contract with Barca and then turn around and renew with Liverpool and include a high buy out clause. There seems to be suggestions that Liverpool think the clause is X and Barca think it's Y, in which case I can only conclude that we have pulled some kind of fast one and that Luis and his people have once again failed to read the small print. Because surely any scenario where Luis agrees with Barca before renewing with us would mean Barca know every detail of his new contract in advance. Unless Tabarez or Luis is talking s***.
