Skrtel looks lost (facial expression, positioning). Plays with no confidence. There's a distinct lack of leadership at CB.

There is no reason to sign Bertrand for Rodgers other than the fact that he's worked for him. Statistically speaking, a poor fullback as compared to his peers (Davies/Shaw etc), and has a lot of flaws which are masked by the fact that he's played (and won) in the Champions League final. Enrique and Flanagan are still better than him so it would be a real waste of £8m. I still think (hope) that we're using this as a ruse to sign Moreno. Seville don't need the cash badly but I've read enough on Seville-based sites to know that they're keen to raise more cash and see Moreno as one of those players who they could sell.

Tony Evans on the AnfieldIndex podcast (towards the end) says he suspects LFC will get Moreno as they really like him. Seville know we're loaded and any deal that's considered "dead" can be resurrected.

Nah he's not ready. I've read a lot on him since we've been interested (particularly from the Belgian-based journos on twitter). He's still quite raw and needs a full season of first team football to get ready. He's Lambert's replacement, definitely not someone who can start right now.
