  1. He's not making the 'spot the d i c k head' competition very difficult
  2. I'm not sure. I see what (I reckon) the coaching staff see in him. He breaks the lines, he turns into space. It doesn't always work but he keeps persisting, and I think he's being encouraged to do so.
  3. It's possible the world may come to an end. We're unlikely to survive. Or you're an exaggerating t***. I'm stuck trying to figure out which is more likely (not).
  4. It's strange how people see things in different lights. My overwhelming impression of the last 40-odd years is how incredibly blessed we've been in our strikers and forwards. Keegan, Toshak, Dalglish, Rush, Aldridge, Beardsley, Fowler, Owen, Torres, Sturridge, Suarez, Mane, Salah. With honorable mentions to the likes of Johnson, Fairclough, Collymore, Heskey, Kuyt, Crouch, Fimino.
  5. They had about 5 other chances but xG went down because they all fell to Havertz. I'm slightly surprised it wasn't him that scored the own goal.
  6. Inkredible. I thought it was Jotter.
  7. Mdrid
  8. I think it could be time to introduce another (let's say) orange card that puts you in the sin bin for 10 minutes. Two yellows is an automatic orange. Straight orange (for current straight red card offenses) is straight to the bin. Your offense is checked while you're in the bin and may be upgraded to a red. No more straight red cards, red only for a third yellow or second orange or falling your check while in the bin. No more in match delays for foul play VAR checks.
  9. He's played every minute of every league game so far, I believe
  10. I liked the look of that midfield, second half. When Mac takes it on the half turn and beats his man - which he did a couple of times - he's finding space with Grav and Dom and the front 3 all in front of him. There were some really nice interchanges between the midfielders as well. With Trent inverting and helping to provide cover it's an extremely progressive midfield. I think it's worth persisting with.
  11. I thought he got himself out of position a couple of times - probably still learning our pressing patterns and triggers - and he covered back very well a few times as well. Looked a bit nervous but I think he will settle. I agree he looks a little short of pace.
  12. I agree. I think one more in midfield and some succession planning for Matip would be welcome, but the additions so far are really positive.
