  1. Yea he was. These t***s accelerated his break. When you are having to punch well above your weight time and again on a shoe string budget, going up against City, it drains even the best. If Klopp had been properly backed, I am convinced he would have stayed beyond 2026.
  2. I would in a heartbeat. I would much rather have owners willing to spend. It will give me confidence that you can attract a top class manager who knows the owners will back him, rather than having minge bag owners who think this is a corporate that increases the value of their assets rather than a football club that exists to win trophies. They chased a world class manager away because of their f*cked up thinking. Maybe Alonso saw something when he decided to stay at Leverkusen.
  3. That is a big if with this sh*t show in charge

    FSG Watch...

People were laughing at the Glazers at Utd. At least they spend money. Our lot are f*cking much worse! F*ck off FSG!
  5. Being interested and being serious are two different things. I am always interested in buying a Ferrari. Am I serious about buying it - f*ck no! This is effectively FSG in every transfer window.
  6. On a serious note, does anyone really believe we were seriously in play for this guy. If we were dead serious for this transfer and what we are led to believe is true (the player wanted to come), we could have closed this deal in a heartbeat. Instead we briefed anyone and everyone out there that this and that was going on and we were waiting for the player to decide - utter bullsh*t. These f*cking crooks have a long history of this and I had a feeling that they would come out with a pearler that the player does not want to move. In reality, they were never serious about him in the first place. FSG are a f*cking disease and worse than Daniel Levy and that is saying something. F*ck off FSG!
  7. They are a bunch of c**ts. They drove away one of the best managers this club has had by d**king around every transfer window. Why should they be any different now. F**k off FSG.
  8. Yes. We have a transfer budget every year which is money raised from sale of players - wages - dividends paid to the owners + £50 = money available to spend on new players. Rinse and repeat every season.
  9. No. My response was to the point “No way we’re negotiating hard if the lad is still sat there saying “I don’t really know” My point is that we did it with Caicedo last year. We bid £111 million without actually speaking to the player to see if he wants to come here.
  10. It’s not like the first time we do this. We have history with the £111 million bid we made last year
  11. Not surprising. He was sh** at Bournemouth. I mean, you know you are suspect when you have overpaid for the likes of Brad Smith and Jordan Ibe. Classic case of Edwards doing his mate a favour.
  12. Fixed that for you.
  13. The last window where we were really excellent was in 2018/19 where we wrapped up our signings early in the window. 2019/20, signed minamino with no forward planning. 2020/2021, we needed depth in defence and instead we signed Jota and Thiago. 2021/22 - needed midfielder and a playmaker who could unlock defences, we sign Konate in the summer and Diaz in Jan. 2022/23 - coming on the back of a draining season where it was clear our midfield needed new energy and blood. What happens? We sign Nunez and Fabio Carvalho and then Gakpo in Jan. 2023/24 - it was clear to the world that our midfield needed a complete overhaul, the most glaring issue being defensive midfielder. We sign 2 midfielders (one of which was and is unproven) and Endo. In 5 transfer windows, we signed 1 center half, 1 CDM, and 3 midfielders (one which had a shocking injury record). Do you really need any further evidence of the ineptness of our owners and their inability to really invest in the first team? Klopp papered over the cracks. The owner’s won’t be so lucky this time. All this while a host of top talent went to other clubs. Compare our transfer windows to say Arsenal’s over that period and you will see the difference.
  14. We kind of do. Every year the club feeds the press that we are interested in so and so. We get linked to over a 100 players. Remember last year we were linked with Thuram and the other lad. Apparently we were close. Then we d*cked around and made a bid for Caicedo knowing that he was never coming here. We then got desperate and signed Endo. This has happened pretty much every season for the last 5 years. Why should this year be any different and why should we all of a sudden believe that the club is genuinely trying to sign world class talent with Edwards in charge. They are looking for bargains and “hidden gems” as this is how FSG’s model is built. I am not holding my breath on any major signings. We have glaring holes in the team - defence being the major - that the owners are not addressing.
  15. Areola is having a good game for them. What a t**.
  16. Hasn’t really helped us in the last 3 games.
  17. On this form, a crocked Trent is better than Gomez. He has been dire for weeks.
  18. Kind of maybe. We just need to win the next 3 games 5-0 and hope Arsenal drop points or at best scrape 1-0 wins. Then we are quids in.
  19. I may get vilified and ridiculed for this post but honestly I really don’t understand the negativity. No doubt our performance was not great but despite that we should have been out of sight. Having said that, let’s stand back and take stock of the season. Firstly, with our problems last season, if someone had offered me being 2nd level with the league leaders with 7 games to go, in the backdrop of a m*therf****r of an injury list that has taken half our starting 11, I would have snapped their hand off. No doubt the result is bad against this lot but it is a point won with plenty to play for. I am confident we can win all our remaining games. Let’s just enjoy it.
  20. Not if they are still fighting for a European place.
  21. Arsenal will drop points. If they win their remaining 7 games which will be 9 in a row, they deserve it. But this is Arsenal, so let’s not throw in the towel just yet. We have Jota coming back this week.
  22. Now we know why Caicedo looked so good for Brighton. Without Mac, he is about as useful as a nun’s fanny. Chelsea got proper fleeced.
  23. Guess the f*cking snide c*** poch’s comments worked.
  24. Other than our name and who we are, how attractive do you think we will be to manage us on a shoe string budget up against the likes of City and having to live up to the standards Klopp set.
  25. Not being properly backed by your owners for 3 transfer windows makes it even worse. I read it somewhere that he told the owners last March that he did not want to continue which was around the time the Bellingham announcement came out.
