Even at that age he had many tricks up his sleeve - free kicks, stepovers, nutmegs - not to forget his passing ability which was as good as anybody. The only thing he lacked was finishing ability which I think the Mancs developed. Currently we need players who are much better than Zaha. We are already developing players like Sterling, Suso, Shelvey, Henderson and Borini. Our hands are full. We don't need to buy another undeveloped player for big money. We better use it on an experienced player to improve our first team - hopefully, not from this league.

Behave. He is the typical one trick pony this league produces. Over hyped because they can run really fast. Not much difference between Hoilett, Joe Cole, Ince and Zaha.

Van Persie gets a lot more support than Suarez, yet Luis has a better scoring record. We desperately need wingers to take the pressure off of Suarez.

Hmm.. I think Sahin and Allen don't compliment each other. Rodger's bought them to the club. Borini was his choice too -dunno who we could have got for that price. Assaidi hardly plays in the league- is he god enough for us? If he was bought for the cup games then that transaction is a joke. Why waste money?

Maybe not against the likes of Chelsea and the Manc teams but the other teams at least. Unless Suarez is in the mood, we seem to do f*** all.

Think his lack of pace might be the problem. Carra's experience and leadership qualities are important vs the big teams. Wisdom's mobility probably compensates for Carragher's lack of it.
