deffo clipped Given but it would have spun in anyway. Regardless of that it's a strikers goal. how they can say OG when it never clearly moved back away from the goal is beyond me. Doubt the same thing would have been picked up by the press if it was Mori who got it.

my favourite bit of the day was the commentator refering to Bramble and saying he was really playing well and looking to retain his place... Just as he hit a pass that would have covered half of Stanley Park were it not for the Main Stand.

We were also made to look god awful by Southampton... Not defending Newcastle here as they've been diabolical with a full team. Titus Brambell's reception was one of the funniest things I've seen at a match for yonks.

Emre, Parker, Luque, Owen... With any other manager those four would be terrifying teams intead of looking like they've just turned up to play park football. I know they've had injury problems but jesus wept that was tactically inept.

Huge difference to our play by giving width and terrifying a FB. Made more effective by the time he's given from the quality of Xabi and Stevie's delivery to him and Risse doing what he does best and overlapping. Well in Harry. Shame he didn't get the goal he deserved.

Great saves but another keeper made to look better than he is because he has to make 60 saves a game. In the last few years keepers at relegation candidates have looked great becasue of the amount of saves they make and never get blamed when their cr@p teams lose anyway. Russel Hoult was once tipped for an England cap FFS and look how good West Brom have made Kirlkland look. That Kewell save was somethig else though.

It was Bowyer and Shear FFS. When Stevie G smacks Lampard about for being a snide c*nt then I'll believe the nicey nice approach has gone. Was a yellow for Bowyer but a few snappy tackles beforehand, that lunge at Alonso seconds before the actual tackle, his previous reputation and a bit of gamesmanship from Crouch got the little c*nt off. Good.

They failed to take into account a fair few very important points and organisations with the design of the stadium- ergo a certain rail company in need of cash has them over the proverbial barrel.
