Coming on trial apparently And for those too lazy to click: Liverpool's search for a right winger has prompted the club to hand a trial to Costa Rican youngster Cristian Bolanos. The 21-year-old impressed the Reds coaching staff at the recent Fifa World Club Championship in Japan. Bolanos' club Deportivo Saprissa lost 3-0 to Liverpool in the semi-final of the competition, but he caught the eye of Rafa Benitez. His display against the European champions has led to Liverpool inviting Bolanos over for a trial in the New Year. Saprissa manager Jeaustin Campos revealed on Costa Rican television that Bolanos would be heading to Anfield in January. Bolanos scored the goal which set up the meeting with Liverpool in the Far East, when Saprissa beat Sydney 1-0.
